Deep underground, an evil presence that has once been defeated, but returned from the past, was waiting to strike our 3 heroes, it was Marik Ishtar, "If I can defeat Yugi and his friends as well as obtain the 3 Egyptian God Cards, I will be unstoppable, but first, I have to find them and strike them, this Shadow Game will be very unfathomable for Yugi's friends, mwahahahahahahaha" Marik said, back at the surface, our heroes were in Yugi's bedroom planning a strategy to defeat what awaits them, "We don't know who we will be facing, so we have to build our decks as intelligently as we can possibly do, if we don't, I worry about what will happen, and if we're brought into a Shadow Game, we really have to be careful, so what we're gonna do, is let Yusei duel first, if he fails, Jaden goes, and if Jaden fails, I would be out final hope, got that" Yugi explained, "Yeah" Jaden and Yusei agreed to the plan, the three walked out, "Grandpa, I'll be back, it may take a while, but I'll be back" Yugi said as he walked out with Jaden and Yusei to find the evil that awaits them, an hour later, they made their way to forbidden ground, where Yugi's Egyptian God Cards began to glow, "Yugi, I think you have to take them out" Jaden said, Yugi pulled out Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and The Winged Dragon of Ra, the ground below them broke, and they fell through the Earth to where Marik was, "What is this place" Yugi asked, Marik walked out of the shadows, "This will be the final stand, prepare to duel" Marik said as Yusei stepped up and shadows enveloped our heroes.
