Layla's Chance
Without thinking well Rigel, Layla and Elinka went to stop the locomotive. They opened the door of the wagon of the guards and when Rigel entered he remained immobile for a moment when he saw the 5 smugglers who stood between them and the locomotive. Each one saw themselves in an excellent physical condition, much better than the tall and skinny Atlas. Both Layla and her sister remained behind the young man's back.
- What will we do? - Layla questioned to see how the opponents approached them slowly ready to battle.
- I'll take care of this - Rigel said, adjusting his glasses with his index finger with Wyatt's gauntles on.
- How would you do? - Elinka questioned while she took shelter with their sister.
- With advanced math. - He answered, causing a serious and calculating look.
Without providing further explanations and with the sound of the train running along the tracks, the ingenious mind of Atlas created a number of possibilities and patterns that when combined with the types of geometric figures of the pieces around it would create an advantage over the young genius. Although it was a large carriage, the tables on each side formed an awkward corridor to cross it. Rigel had this very clear in his strategy, he took into account each article in the wagon that could be used in his favor, and especially that it seems they did not possess firearms. From the broom in the corner to the centerpiece of the tables, all of this could be use has weapons. He moved ready for what would be a combination of defense with attack. He bent his knees a little to gain momentum and without his rivals being able to analyze what was happening, he approached in a hurry with the gauntlets were the first two men who were close to him. Rigel turned his body to the right thus confusing the first opponent who threw a very slow fist. Rigel hit him so hard in the chest with his right hand which made it look like the guy flying around the tables. The second individual received a shattering left in the face that made him rotate several times before falling to the ground.
Rigel just stood up and watched the other 3 opponents who remained surprised at the boy's speed. Some of them drew knives to face him, while this happened Rigel redesigned his defense strategy and launched himself into the new attack. From one of the tables he took the centerpiece of the vase with flowers and threw it in the face of the third attacker followed by a kick in the air letting the man fall to the ground. One of the fighters who were next to the man fell to the ground along with him. The fifth man carried a knife in his hand with which he made several movements of the attack on Rigel, by concentrating on dodging the cuts was held by the fourth man who had risen from the ground. Just when the man was going to stab him the third man got up with what was left of the jar in his hand to finish breaking it in Rigel's face. Luckily the man got between the knife and Rigel. Everything was so fast that the fifth man could not stop by stabbing his partner which caused both to be perplexed at what happened. Rigel Atlas took advantage of this moment and with all his strength he stepped on the man who was holding him, he was a little deconcentrated in holding him. Quickly Rigel hit him with his boot between his legs and was able to release him for the pain. That same man received an elbow that Rigel hit him from his back, when he turned in front of him he hit him leaving the unconscious.
The first man, the one who seemed to have flown through the tables, approached to join the fight. Rigel was already waiting for him, taking one of the chairs and breaking it over the man's body. What Rigel didn't count on was that he would be stabbed in the left side. For an instant, fear had penetrated into him creating horrible occasional anxiety. Although he had never been hurt in his life, he felt that it had been a not very deep wound, the pain was a very strange one but he was very clear about its function at that time; defend and protect the sisters at all costs. He took the man by the same arm by which he still held the knife and with a shout of war he gripped the hand of his opponent, managing to get the knife from his side but before continuing to attack he was held by the neck closing the airway. At that moment Rigel would have little time and concentration to get out of such a tight problem. While trying to hit the man holding him, he noticed that at some point his gauntlets had fallen to the ground. Despair began to take hold of the tense fight in Rigel's mind.
