Outpost 57 is a large outpost located outside of San Diego, California, built near Fairbanks Ranch. California gave Monarch an opportunity to build a new outpost by giving away a large empty space of Fairbanks Ranch to the organization. During the construction process, Monarch decided to make Outpost 57 a one-of-a-kind outpost by giving it certain amenities and features not present in other outposts.
These included a large medical wing and laboratory for scientists and medical professionals, as well as an indoor swimming pool, a large training room, a second level outdoor terrace and observation deck, a spacious lounge and living suites for new operatives at the facility, all under one roof.
Within its opening, Outpost 57 became one of Monarch's most popular and well-known outposts since it was so different from the other outposts that were built by the organization. Outpost 57 of course was only open to members of Monarch. However, the outpost does offer tours to future Monarch employees once a month every year.
