Following a brief seven-minute drive from the San Elijo Lagoon and Ecological Reserve, Noah, Raziel, and Adam reached Solana Beach. "Here we are, guys. We've arrived at our destination," Adam announced as he parked the Suburban in the parking lot.

Noah and Raziel swiftly exited the SUV. As soon as Noah stepped out of the Suburban, he immediately noticed a 5'3" woman with expansive butterfly wings at the beach's center, gazing intently at the sky. She was encircled by a mix of beachgoers and unarmed Monarch personnel.

"It seems that's the woman you mentioned, Raziel. She certainly has an unusual appearance," Noah remarked, observing the throng of people encircling the woman with moth-like wings.

"You are absolutely correct," Raziel affirmed, taking Noah by the hand and leading him into the crowd.

Noah and Raziel approached the crowd. As they drew nearer, they gained a clearer view of the mysterious winged woman.

She stood at 5'3" and was clad in a dress concealed by a long cloak, which featured white fur around the neckline and was embellished with stripes of orange, blue, yellow, and blue. Her attire was completed with short, brown boots adorned with white fur at the brim. Her long honey-blonde hair cascaded down, transitioning into a white fade.

The winged woman swiftly became aware of two strangers approaching her. "Wait! Stay back, both of you! I don't want to be disturbed at this moment!" she exclaimed in panic, enveloping her entire body with her wings.

"Hold on! We're not here to harm you, young lady," Noah explained as he approached.

Suddenly, the winged woman swiftly unveiled a pair of sharp, dual rapiers concealed within her lengthy cloak. Noah, Raziel, and the surrounding crowd hastily retreated in alarm.

"Woah! Woah! Woah! Hold up! We are not here to cause any trouble!" Noah said.

"Yeah! We are not going to inflict any harm on you!" Raziel added.

Subsequently, the winged woman sheathed her rapiers. "Very well then," she declared. "I wish to have a private conversation with the young man who has black hair."

Noah felt compelled to introduce himself properly to the enigmatic woman with wings. "Uh, my name is Noah. This is Raziel," he said, gesturing to his companion.

"What's your name madam?" Raziel asked.

"My name is Maria Sarabeth. It's quite a pleasure to meet you both," she replied.

Afterward, Noah concluded that it was time for him and Maria to have the conversation she had requested. "Very well then. Let's find a secluded place where we can learn more about each other," Noah suggested, taking Maria's hand in his.

"Perfect." Maria said as she held onto Noah's hand.

Noah and Maria proceeded to a secluded section of the beach. "So, Noah, what occurred to transform you into what appears to be a human equivalent of the mighty Godzilla?" inquired Maria.

"Yesterday, after a Monarch presentation at SDSU, I received an injection of a Godzilla serum. Astonishingly, the serum was highly effective, and as a result, I now possess all of Godzilla's physical attributes and his unique powers," Noah responded.

Maria was naturally fascinated by the information she heard. "That's quite fascinating. You see, at the age of 25, I discovered a mysterious stone imbued with odd, magical powers. As soon as I fully grasped it, the stone unleashed its full potential, transforming me into the human incarnation of the Queen of the Monsters, Mothra. Consequently, I have acquired Mothra's unique abilities and characteristics," she elaborated.

Noah was quite surprised by Maria's story. "Wow, that is indeed interesting," he remarked.

At that moment, Maria had a thought. "Tell me, since you're essentially the human incarnation of Godzilla, would you consider joining my side and becoming my faithful protector?" she inquired.

Noah was taken aback by Maria's proposal. However, with Raziel by his side, he knew he couldn't refuse. "Well, that does sound quite intriguing. So, yes, I accept your offer, madam," Noah agreed, shaking Maria's hand.

Maria smiled simply. "Maybe next time we meet, Noah, we can set all of this in motion," she suggested.

"I agree. Besides, I think it's time I head back to Outpost 57 for the day" Noah added.

Noah and Maria made their way back to the crowd at the beach. Raziel noticed Noah's return.

"Well, how did your little conversation go Noah?" Raziel asked.

"Well, I have come to conclusion that I will become the loyal protector to Maria Sarabeth." Noah replied.

Raziel, along with Adam and the crowd were rather shocked to hear that. "Really? Well then, I am very surprised." Raziel said.

"Perhaps me and Raziel could help assist you whenever you need any serious help in a dangerous situation of any kind." Maria added.

"Of course. I would love to have some useful assistance. You two would be perfect partners to work by my side." Noah said.

At that moment, Adam determined it was time to return Noah to Outpost 57. After all, it had been an exceedingly long day for Noah. "Mr. Harris, we should make our way back to Outpost 57; the day has been quite lengthy," Adam suggested.

"I agree. I have had enough encounters for one day." Noah added.

Noah and Adam returned to the Suburban. As Adam ignited the engine of his SUV, Raziel approached the passenger side of the vehicle. "I would like to say one more thing to Noah before you two depart," Raziel expressed.

"Better be something important young man." Adam scoffed in annoyance.

"Just remember Noah. If you get caught up in anything serious, I'll be there for you. As well as Maria." Raziel said to Noah.

"No worries Raziel. Just be safe out there. Maria as well." Noah added.

After that, Adam and Noah left Solana Beach, and they were on their way back to Outpost 57.

Author's Note: After a long delay, Part 2 of Chapter 7 has finally arrived. I would like to apologize for getting this chapter finished up in time as I was hoping.

The reason for that is because I saw there was no use in finishing it before my vacation to the Dominican Republic in June by the 7th. 🏖️

Then, two days after I returned home from my vacation, I ended up getting Covid and got sick as a result. Once I was feeling better, I somehow felt a little lazy and forgot about finishing up this chapter. 🤒

However, despite all of this, I have finally managed to get around and finished the rest of this part. 😅

So, with all of that out of the way, I would like to apologize for the long wait for the second part of Chapter 7. I do hope this was worth the long wait. Yes, this part is a little shorter than the first part. But I personally don't mind that. 👌

Also, I would like to say thank you for getting this story up to 846 reads. I do greatly appreciate that. 👏

I will start laying out work on Chapter 8 soon. But for now, I hope you all enjoy the second part of this chapter. 👍

Thank you very much and have a great day! 😉
