Nobody's POV:

"What? Are you sick? Are you Drunk? Did you go to the bar instead of fishing?" Joel asked, feeling Martyn's forehead. Martyn pushed Joel's hand off of him. "Yes I'm sure! And I met an axolotl girl hybrid thing- and a cod boy hybrid, or something." Martyn rambled until Joel cut him off. "Wait, met? I thought your crazy mind saw a siren?" Joel asked, confused and skeptical. "Well, I kinda met them." Martyn replied, shrugging.

"What are you weirdos talking about? Did you catch anything Martyn?" Grian asked as he walked down the stairs. "Nothing! And uh no I didn't catch anything." Martyn said as he remembered his promise. "But we were just talking about-" Joel started saying before he was shoved onto the ground by Martyn.

"I caught and saw nothing." Martyn said to Grian while facing Joel. "Okay? Well you better catch something tomorrow." Grian said as he left. "Why didn't you tell Grian? You were just telling me all about the Siren, Cod Hybrid, and Axolotl Hybrid." Joel said as he used his hands for quotations around Siren, Cod Hybrid, and Axolotl Hybrid. "Because I forgot I wasn't supposed to tell anyone." Martyn said as he helped Joel up from the ground.

"Supposed to? The hell does that mean?" Joel asked, rubbing his head. "Well, I suppose I had a conversation with the fish people things?" Martyn started saying. "Well anyway, I don't really know how to explain it." Martyn finally finished. "I'm going fishing with you tomorrow." Joel said. "What? You can't." Martyn replied. "I wasn't asking your permission, and why can't I?" Joel asked, confused.

"Because I promised not to tell anyone about them." Martyn said. "Well you told me and now I'm curious, your mistake not mine." Joel said as he got up and left. Martyn groaned and flopped onto the couch. "I'm gonna get killed." He mumbled.

"So where did you see them?" Joel asked as he walked with Martyn. "Over there." He replied, pointing at a hole in the ice. They walked over to it and set up their chairs and poles.

After a while of sitting in silence Joel started to get bored and skeptical. "Are you sure you weren't drunk?" Joel complained. "Ugh, yes I'm sure, and I don't necessarily want to see them again." Just as Martyn finished his sentence something popped up from the hole.

"Why are there two dead minnows now? I told you that you won't catch shit with them." Scott said as he came above the water. At first he didn't realize Joel as he fixed his hair. Joel's mouth was open, staring at Scott. "Y-you weren't lying." He finally said.

Scott turned around and finally noticed Joel. "You liar!" He yelled as he turned to face Martyn. Martyn sat there in silence for a second, looking at Joel and Scott. "Um, well I didn't really mean to tell him." Martyn shrugged. "How the hell do you accidentally break a promise and tell someone something?" Scott asked, angrily.

"He only told me, he, uh, forgot about the promise thing or whatever you guys said when he told me. But, uh, he only told me." Joel said, slightly scared. Scott's face was still angry as he kept still. "You have one more chance." He said. "If either of you tell one more fucking person, I swear to Pearl I will kill you both." He said.

Both Martyn and Joel sat there with their mouths wide open in shock and fear. Scott rolled his eyes and sat on the edge of the ice near to Martyn, top of his body above the water with his feet still in it. Joel scooted away but Martyn stayed still. "O-okay, I suppose that's fair." He asked, fear still lingering in his voice.

They sat there in awkward silence until it was finally broken but Martyn. "So, uh, where are Jimmy and Lizzie? That was their names, right?" Martyn asked. "Yeah that was their names, and they are helping hunt right now." Scott said.

They continued in silence until Scott had enough. "I'm not going to kill you, unless you break another promise." He said, laying back. "And for the love of Pearl use a different bait, you aren't going to catch shit with dead minnows." Scott begged. "What do you want us to use?" Joel asked, finally breaking the tension.
