Venoct and the pet secret (Romance one-shot)

Venoct was known by many for being very serious, stern, and stoic. Some Yo-kai have debated in the past whether if he had friends or not. Most Yo-kai would have thought that he did not have a single friend.

However, that was far from the truth.

It was morning time, Venoct was in Uptown Springdale, walking towards an alleyway that was near the school. He was holding a bag with one hand as he went inside the alleyway. Once inside, he went towards a specific spot he started going to months ago. He dropped the bag and opened it up, revealing a bunch of dog food?

A bunch of dogs came out of hiding to eating the food, enjoying every bite. Venoct smiled under his dragon smile. He never told anyone, but he had a thing for pets. At first, he was annoyed at them for somehow climbing up a tree where he is sleeping at and wake him up, but overtime, he grew fond of them.

And now here he was, feeding a group of abandoned dogs some dog food. He had been doing this for at least 2 months now. He would come every day with dog food and give it to these dogs.

Although, he notes something interesting about this alleyway. He heard rumors about a girl going in this alleyway at nighttime with a big bag. There were names pointing to Blizzaria since there are many Yo-kai who look the same but with entirely different personalities, some say it's Little Charmer since she's a Yo-kai Hero, and others jokingly saying Manjimutt dressed as a girl.

Maybe he should ask one of the dogs...

He looks at one of the dogs who seem to have finished his meal and waiting for the others. He sits down.

"Excuse me?" Venoct asked.

"Ruff? (Yes?)"

"I've heard rumors of a girl going to this exact alleyway at nighttime with a big bag. Do you know her?"

"Ruff, Ruff! (Yes, me and the rest of us know her!)"

"You do?" Venoct looked surprised.

"Ruff, Ruff, Ruff! (You see, before you came along, there was someone else who would give us food every day for about a year. It was her. She would also bring a bag of toys with her to let us play with them.)" the dog looked happy.

The dog then frowned a bit. "Ruff, Ruff, Ruff! (But we noticed that she was getting exhausted after a while, and one time she collapsed when she got here.)"

Venoct was surprised.

"Ruff, Ruff, Ruff! (We tried to make her comfortable until she woke up. After she did, she told us that bring both bags were taking a toll on her since they were super heavy, which explained the amount of dog food we had for a while. She then disappeared for a few months due to an illness, but thankfully recovered.)" the dog looked grateful.

"Ruff, Ruff! (She fully recovered a month ago and started to bring us food again, except she was surprised that we weren't hungry. We told her what happened and she was surprised. She said she would love to meet you one day.)"

Venoct did not know what to say. Someone had been taking care of these abandoned dogs before, he was to Essentially help her unknowingly.

"Do you know her name?" Venoct questioned. It was time to put the rumors to rest.

"Ruff! (Her name is Blizzaria!)" the dog ruffed happily.

"I see....do think it's alright if I come at night?" Venoct asked.

"Ruff! (Sure!)" the dog happily.

Venoct nodded, he had to admit that he was impressed that someone was determined to take care of someone in need for an entire year. Perhaps a meeting was necessary.
