The chill of Seoul's winter was no match for the warmth radiating from Rosie's heart as she meticulously planned the proposal for her girlfriend, Y/N. With the engagement ring delicately hidden inside a Christmas ornament, Rosie eagerly awaited the perfect moment during their festive tree-decorating tradition.

As Y/N returned from her errand, Rosie's eyes gleamed with excitement. "Let's get started on the tree, love!" she exclaimed, guiding Y/N toward the carefully arranged decorations.

They began unpacking the ornaments, each one holding memories of their journey together. The air buzzed with anticipation as Rosie and Y/N exchanged stories about their day.

They continued decorating the tree, their laughter echoing through the room. With each ornament placed, they reminisced about the unique personalities of their BLACKPINK members and exchanged ideas for thoughtful gifts.

Rosie smiled, her eyes reflecting the love that filled her heart. "I think Jisoo would love a personalized sketchbook, and Jennie, maybe a vintage record player. What about Lisa and her love for streetwear?"

Y/N, entranced by the conversation, momentarily lost focus on the ornament in her hands. In an unexpected twist, the delicate ornament slipped from her grasp, crashing to the floor with a melodic shatter. Time seemed to freeze as the shattered pieces revealed the ring nestled within.

Rosie's heart raced as panic flashed across her face, contrasting with Y/N's wide-eyed shock. Without uttering a word, Rosie swiftly bent down, picking up the ring from the midst of the fallen shards.

"Y/N," Rosie began, her voice carrying a mix of nerves and unwavering affection. "I had this elaborate plan, but life has a way of surprising us. You may be clumsy but that's one of the many things I love about you, that's why I want to ask you..."

Y/N's eyes widened as the realization sank in. Taking a deep breath, Rosie stood up, holding the ring in her trembling hands. "Will you make me the happiest person in the world and marry me?" she asked, her gaze locked with Y/N's.

The room held its breath until Y/N's eyes welled up with tears of joy. "Yes, Rosie, a million times yes!" she exclaimed, pulling Rosé into an embrace.

They took a break from decorating to talk and for Y/N to stare at her ring. When they started decorating again, their conversation from earlier came back around again. "And for you, Rosie, perhaps a special piece of jewelry? Like a ring, maybe?" Y/N smiled at Rosie.

Rosie chuckled, a sparkle in her eyes. "That sounds like a dream come through, my love." Y/N kissed Rosie's cheek, the joy of the proposal lingering in the air.

As they continued planning and decorating, the shattered ornament became a symbol of the unexpected beauty that life could hold, turning a simple proposal into a story filled with genuine love and cherished imperfections.
