Disbandment

Today was the day. Contract day. Would Blackpink resign or would they disband, forever? Rosie pondered the thought a lot. She didn't want to disband, Blackpink meant the world to her. The girls were her family, she'd never want to lose that but if the others didn't resign, she'd be heartbroken.

She wanted to keep going. It was was her dream to make music and a long the way, she found 3 other girls who shared the same dream she had. She would respect if the others didn't want to keep going but Rosie, she wanted too. That, she was sure of. If that was going to happen though, she wasn't so sure.

The 4 girls never talked about it, too scared of where the conversation would lead. Too scared in case one of them would say, they didn't want too. The topic was never discussed until today. Rosie was scared, nervous, her anxiety was through the roof thinking of all the possibilities.

Rosie was sat on the couch in the living room, zoned out. Y/N was sitting beside her, watching the tv. Y/N knew Rosie was worried for today. That things wouldn't go right, she knew it would break her girls heart if Blackpink wasn't Blackpink anymore.

"Stop thinking so hard, you're gonna hurt yourself." Y/N said giggling, lightly smacking Rosie with a pillow. Rosie dryly laughed, "Sorry. I'm just really caught up in everything. I don't want things to end, you know? This has been my whole life for 6 years. For it all to end now would break me." Rosie said, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Y/N's heart broke seeing Rosie so upset. She pulled Rosie into her lap and wrapped her arms around her, engulfing Rosie into a tight hug. "Shh, it's okay. No matter what happens, you'll always have the girls. I promise you that, okay? They won't go anywhere, you guys are family." Y/N said, rubbing Rosie's back hoping to sooth the crying blonde in her lap.

Rosie knew Y/N was right despite her endless thoughts that the girls would never see or hear from each other after this. Rosie knew she was letting her anxiety get the better of her. Regardless if Blackpink broke up, she'd have her girls and she'd have Y/N. Rosie pulled back from the hug and kissed Y/N, "Thank you for that, I love you. You always know how to pull me back down to earth." Rosie said with a teary smile.

"Everything you need is on the ground right?" Y/N said with a laugh. Rosie laughed, "Don't quote my song!" Rosie hugged Y/N again, feeling lighter than she did earlier. She'd alway have this, her girl. If Blackpink didn't work out, she had Y/N. That's all she needed now.

"You do have to go though, you don't want to be late." Y/N said quietly in Rosie's ear. Rosie sighed, "You're right. I should get going but I'll see you later. I can't promise no tears when I get back though." Rosie said. "No matter what happens, you're gonna be okay. I'll be here for you, always." Y/N said, kissing Rosie's cheek before letting her go. They exchanged, I love yous and Rosie left dreading what could be.

After the meeting:

Rosie pulled into the driveway. She pulled herself together the whole drive here but now that she was home, she let it all out. The tears came running down her face, she couldn't help it. She opened the car door and walked inside.

Y/N heard the front door open. She didn't know what the outcome was but she could hear Rosie's sobs from upstairs. Y/N ran downstairs and hugged Rosie tightly. Y/N wanted to know if it was good news or bad news but she also knew Rosie needed time before she told her.

Y/N guided Rosie to the couch and fell back on it with Rosie on top of her. She planted sweet kisses on Rosie's head, "It's okay, I've got you." Y/N said quietly through Rosie's sobs. Rosie held Y/N like she was all she had left. She couldn't form any words, all the air was sucked out of her.

Y/N held Rosie until she calmed down. Rosie sat up and wiped her tears. She was shaking, she couldn't believe it. She inhaled deep, "It's over." was all Rosie could say before breaking into tears again. Y/N held her once again.

Y/N couldn't believe it either. She knew Rosie's whole world was Blackpink. All Rosie wanted to do was be a singer, she would spend countless nights at her piano writing songs till 6am. Y/N would come downstairs many mornings and find Rosie asleep at her piano. The love she had for her music was admirable and anyone could see it.

Rosie cried for hours that night. She couldn't console herself and neither could Y/N, no matter how hard she tried. Rosie was so upset, even angry. Not at the girls but at YG. All the girls wanted to resign, they wanted to keep Blackpink going but YG had other plans. A new girl group all ready in the works as Blackpink replacement.

It broke Rosie's heart and the other girls. They stood shocked at the news. Rosie's world was never the same after Blackpink's disbandment. Nothing would ever be the same.

A/N: Hey guys, sorry for the sad chapter. I was feeling a lot tonight and the thought of Blackpink possibly disbanding this year made me even upset to think about but I thought about turning it into a chapter bc I bet a lot of us blinks feel that way too.
