AUTHOR'S POV

"Please don't say that. I don't know how it feels to be in your position, but all I know that you have your family who wish and pray for you to get better" Jisoo said encouraging Jennie.

"I'm sorry to think like that but Jisoo, you're delusional if you think that I will be healthy again"

"Well, I don't know about it but giving up before you even try is ridiculous"

"Trust me, I've tried for years. But as you can see it now, I'm on the last stage of brain tumour. You know what that means? I'm so close to die"

"What about Tae-Ho? How do you think he will feel to know that his mother gives up on life? Instead of fighting for the sake of her son, she gives up and wait for death to come. Does that sound right to you?"

That silence her, Jennie never thought about the effect on her son if she didn't even try. She was hopeless with her treatment. She no longer has a purpose on getting the treatment, knowing that in the end she won't make it. Jisoo watched Jennie as she fought not to cry. Her heart's broken to think about what Jennie went through.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. But Jen, you need to fight for the sake of Tae-Ho. He needs you, I know we've only known in just a short time but I believe that you are strong, independent woman. You went through this once, you'll go through this. Just please, don't give up. Think about your son"

Jennie shed a tear but quickly wiped it away with the back of her hand. "You're right. I'm sorry, I just...I'm so desperate to get better"

Jisoo stretch out her hand to take hers. "You'll beat this, Jennie. You need to stay strong. I'll be here if you need me" For once Jennie was glad to have met Jisoo. She never really had female friends ever since she left. She was glad to have talked to her.

"Thanks, Jisoo. I'm honestly glad to have talked with you" The two of them continued talking about life and stuff, mostly Jisoo trying to cheer her up. Jennie felt comfortable to open up to her, she felt that she could trust Jisoo.

A week later

Both Taehyung and Jisoo were getting ready to go to hospital to visit Dami, who just had delivered her new baby born 2 days ago. Both of them were thrilled when Woo Shik told them the news.

"I told you it's going to be a girl" Jisoo said as Taehyung drove them to the hospital. A few weeks ago they made a bet to guess the gender of Woo Shim and Dami's baby. Jisoo felt that it's going to be a baby girl, while Taehyung thought it would be a baby boy.

"Yeah, yeah youneon this time" The couple finally reached to the hospital and went straight to the room. Dami was on the bed, breastfeeding the baby while Woo Shik sat on the edge of the bed looking at them.

"Hey congratulations you two!" Was the first thing Jisoo said when they walked in the room. She went to give Dami a side hug. "Oh my God she's adorable! What's her name?"

Dami smiled. "Thanks, Jisoo. Her name is Choi Mira, Mira for short"

"Aww beautiful name, here we bought this for her" jisoo said, putting the gift they just bought on the table.

"That's so nice of you two, thank you guys" Woo Shik said this time.

"Jisoo, you wanna hold Mira?"

"Oh, yeah may I?" Jisoo asked to make sure. She didn't expect Dami to offer her to hold Mira. But she would be very happy to accept her offer.
