JISOO'S POV

When I woke up, I was freezing to death. It's weird because I didn't turn on the air conditioner in my room since it was so cold since last night. I tried to sit up on the bed but failed die to the massive headache, I fell back on my back hitting my head on the headboard. I winched in pain as the effect of it makes the headache even worse. I brought my hand to rub my forehead and felt that I was a bit hot.

I sighed in annoyance as I closed my eyes. It's been a while since I last caught some cold. It must be from yesterday when I visited my parents graves. I looked at the time on the wall to see it was already 8am. I"m gonna be late for work but I don't think I can manage to go to work either. After debating whether to go to work or not, I decided to call it a day and have some rest. I'm not even sure if I could concentrate on working if I got this massive headache like this.

I reach out for my phone and text Haein.Oppa, telling him that I will not be coming to the office because of cold. He replied to my text and wish me a speedy recover. I thanked him then text Bona to let her and Do-Jun know that I'm not coming to work today. I put my phone on the bedside table then pulled up the blanket and curled up in the bed, shivering a bit. I closed my eyes and try to get into another sleep, hoping I will get better once I wake up.

Before I could fall asleep, someone knocked on my door making me to open my eyes instantly. "Jisoo?" It was none other than, Taehyung.

"Yeah" I weakly replied. As the door crack open there Taehyung's head popped in. He furrowed his eyebrows as he saw the light off and me still on the bed. He walked into the room and closed the door. I take a look on his appearance, he was already dressed in his suit. He probably wondered why I didn't show up for breakfast with him like I always do.

"I come to check on you. Are you okay?" He asked making his way closer toward my bed with his hands in his pockets looking handsome as always.

I nodded and give him a small smile. "I'm fine, just catch some cold. Nothing to worry about"

He didn't seems to buy it, just then he brought his hand and place it on my forehead. For once, I felt a surge of electric when his skin come in touch with mine. "Shit, Jisoo you are burning" I didn't say anything as I watched his worry face. He suddenly turn around and left my room. I.sighed and shut my eyes as my head began pounding. It sucks.

"Hey" I open my eyes instantly to the voice. Taehyung stood in front of me with a glass of water and a pill in his hand. "Here, it's Paracetamol"He says. As I try to sit up with my still pounding head, my hands were shaking a bit as my body put weight on them. I fell on the headboard as my head began to spin.

"Hey took a breath, and try to sit slowly. Come on I will help you" Taehyung immediately place the glass and pull on the side table and help me to sit up. Taking a seat next to me as he watch me. "You look so pale, here take this" He state then hand me the pill and glass of water.

I didn't need to be told twice as I took the pill and gulp the water. I.hand him back the impty glasses. I took a deep breath and once again closing my eyes hoping the headache would decrease soon. I didn't know how long I closed my eyes, I assumed Taehyung has already left to work because I didn't hear anything. But when I open my eyes, he was still here looking at me.

"Why are you still here? Go to work right now, I'm all fine here" I state in low tone.

"Yeah, I'll leave soon. But are you okay though? Do you need anything?" I shook my head. "No thank you. I'll just go back to sleep. It must be better soon since I already took a pill."

"Are you sure?" He ask in hesitation as he doesn't want to leave me.

"Yeah, you don't have to worry about me. Just go, you'll be late for work" I mutter to which he chuckle lightly.
