Fun Fact(s)
I wrote this poem as I read one of Eloisa Madrigal's epistolary story "Fallback Girl" and was kind of attached-or rather invested-to the female lead's struggle. She's basically the framework on this girl's pov but it's not her.
I published this one on my personal fb account on the year of 2020-early pandemic-kinda got rave reviews in a small scale. It was shared more than once but sadly, I deleted the post and there's not a single trace about it. (I couldn't even find the first and the raw version of this precious poem)
But I rehashed this one a year later when it was created and posted on my Wattpad fb account, (it's on the album "writing flicks")
I was not satisfied with that version either so I edited another one this year, this was supposed to be completed on this year's valentine's day but I finished revamping the poem months after. Posted this version on my private account and people seem to like it.
So . . . I decided to post this precious baby of mine, here. This narrative/story holds so much weight. This piece witnessed how I struggled to be a poet, phases of ups and downs.
To sum it all up, this poem is the reason why I even started to eagerly writing poetry throughout the years. It maybe not my first poem but it is one of my produest work. (Maybe not the best for some but it is dear to me)
I Hope you enjoy it!
