"We are truly impressed Mr.Malhotra the deal is yours!"
"Thank you so much Mr.James", I politely thanked him with a professional smile on my face but only I know how much happy I am from inside.
Now the award is definitely mine this year as well. I know winning an award is not very important, its your hardwork that matters but this award is actually for my family, for their belief in me and also to show all those people that I am very capable and not just another spoiled brat who got the post of CEO by doing nothing.
Now I am at my way to my comfort place.. Mt home.. My family. I love them alot.
As soon as I reached my mom came and hugged me followed by my dad and Ru.
" Congrats bhai I knew you would get the deal."
I smiled at her.
"Arey ofcourse he is my son, he had to get" Dad said raising his invisible collars.
"Ahaa.. As if... he has got my smartness.. Anyways Shiv you get freshened up I have made your favourite dinner tonight"
"Thank you so much mom I was really very hungry and tired.. I'll come down quickly dont start without me."
I said with a pout and yelled the last line while jogging towards my room.
As I came downstairs near the dining table my mouth wattered seeing all my favourite dishes.
"Ahh.. I love this day.. Lets start!!" I said being excited making all of them chuckle at my behaviour and we started eating.
If someone from my office saw me like this they would get shocked thinking I have split personality disorder 😂
We were talking in general while eating when mom said, "Shiv beta, want to talk to you about something"
"Yes mom what is it?"
"Umm.. Beta do you have a girlfriend or someone whom you like?"
"What?!! What are you saying mom?!..No I dont have a girlfriend neither do I like any girl I am very busy with work.. But why would you ask me that?"

"See beta, having a life partner does not seem very alluring until you get one, that girl will not only be your wife but also your best friend, soulmate for life.. How much ever you deny it we all need that one person. And I know like every other things my son will also be the best in this as well", mom said.
I wont lie.. I do feel like I need someone in my life. But todays girls can never be trusted. They make the boy get away from their family and I dont want that. I need to think about it. Though I am quite convinced with mom's words but still.
" Mom, I'll think about it and let you know tomorrow.. Okay?"
"Yes beta that completely fine" She smiled at me.
Soon we finished Our dinner and went to our rooms to sleep. Whole time I was thinking about marriage. I think I have made my decision I’ll them about it tomorrow.
