SMG4: The Vanidicus Arc

New Experiences

The group gets off the bus to Bowser Land. It looks like there's many tall roller coasters and drop towers. It all astonishes SMG6. The closest thing she's seen to a roller coaster is SMG0 sliding around on the crystal paths he made with his staff.

Everyone makes their way to the entrance. SMG3 turns in the tickets, and in turn is given four wristbands. One for each person. 3 hands them out; however, he's a little skeptical when giving SMG6 hers. The crew put their wristbands on no problem. Except 6. She struggles a bit before an employee helps her.

SMG4: "Alright! What are we riding first?"
Mario: "Mario says we go on that thing!"

Mario points towards a tall, red roller coaster with several inversions. At its entrance is a sign that reads "Fire Fury."

SMG4: "How about we start with something smaller..."

4 turns to Mario to whisper in his ear.

SMG4: "For 6's sake. I don't think she's been on a roller coaster before..."
SMG3: "Oh come on, 4! Don't be a baby!"
SMG6: "Yeah, 4! Quit being a baby!"

  SMG3 gives 6 a dirty look for using that nickname. "4" is a nickname only long-time friends use; it's rare for someone who just met SMG4 uses it.

SMG4: "If you're okay with it then I guess we can ride it."
Mario: "YIPPEEEEEEE!"

  The group gets in line for Fire Fury. It's not that long of a wait though. Soon the four are at the front of the line and boarding the ride vehicle. Workers come around to pull down the restraints.

SMG6: "Wait, what are these things for?"
Mario: "To keep you from dying!"
SMG4: "Mario! They just keep you in place- uh.. uhhhh"
SMG6: "What?"

SMG4 mouths the word "name" to 6.

SMG6: "Oh! Uhhhh"
Worker: "All clear! Have a fun ride!"

And just like that the cart begins up the lift hill.

SMG3: "You were saying?"
SMG6: "Nevermind..."

SMG6 pauses for a minute.

SMG6: "Why do the restraints go over my shoulders instead of like a seat belt in a car?"
SMG3: "Because this goes upside down..?"

SMG3 thinks that's obvious. Anyone who's been on a roller coaster knows that!

SMG6: "Wait what-"

Just as 6 finishes what she was saying the cart zooms down the hill and into a loop. SMG6 screams bloody murder as she clutches onto her hood for dear life. Meanwhile Mario, SMG4, and 3 have their hands in the air, screaming in excitement. There's a bright flash halfway down the hill. As the cart enters the loop 6 feels like she's gonna fall out, but of course she doesn't. The cart continues on towards a few smaller hills. This part doesn't freak SMG6 out, but the next part does: a corkscrew. If you just heard 6's screams you'd think she was being brutally torn to shreds, but no she's on a roller coaster.

Finally the cart pulls back into the loading area, and the restraints are released. SMG6 jumps out of the cart like as if it's toxic. The group leave the ride. SMG4, Mario and 3 have smiles on their faces. Meanwhile 6 looks like she just witnessed World War III.

SMG6: "WHAT KIND IF TORTURE DEVICE WAS THAT!?!?"
Mario: "Rolla Coasta"
SMG4: "This is why I said we should start smaller..."
SMG3: "Well, 4 I guess you aren't a baby. But your friend sure is!"
SMG6: "Hey!"

  Suddenly a tall drop tower catches Mario's eye.

Mario: "Wanna go on that next?"

  He points to the tower.
