She sat slumped down in a chair, a cup of coffee in her hand as she had a subtle pout on her face. Her friend, Ga-eul sat across from her, looking at the younger lass with both disappointment and compassion.

"Why don't yo-" She was cut off by a huff coming from the latter, she looked into her eyes.

"No, i am not going to try to talk to her! AGAIN! It's useless, she treats me like a roommate, and what'd i do to deserve that?!" She asked, puzzled and looking for answers from her friend. Ever since that night, she had been getting ignored by her fiancée for a reason that she thought was utter bullshit. The lass had given her no opportunity to explain the situation and instead jumped to a conclusion that was incorrect.

Ga-eul sighed, turning her head toward their friend, Ji-won. She was staring at her phone, giggling and blushing, Ga-eul rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Not the time to be texting Rei, Won-young over here is heartbroken because her fiancée isn't paying any attention to her." She proclaimed, turning her attention back to Won-young as she noticed the latter put down her phone and focus her attention back onto the subject they had gathered to talk about.

"I am not heartbroken because she isn't paying attention to me. In fact, I don't give a single damn that she isn't. I am just annoyed." She denounced in a mumble as she looked back up at her friends. They looked at her with their heads slightly tilted to the side, as if they were barely believing what she was saying. It just made her more frustrated, she groaned and continued to melt into the chair.

"Sure, and unicorns exist." Sighed Ji-won, not believing her, adding more to her frustration. Its one thing to see your friends barely believing you and it only being written on their face, and its another thing when they downright declare that they don't believe you.

"I mean it!" She puffed up her cheeks, crossing her arms in front of her in an annoyed manner.

The others sighed, there was no way she was going to admit that she wanted the attention. They could show her the texts she sent earlier that week, but she'd tell them that it was fabricated and merely an accusation.

She was about to support her argument when her phone rang, she took it out of her phone and looked at the contact. It was her dad, he usually never called her, unless it was for business.

"Hi dad?" She picked up, she could hear her dad pacing around his office, per usual. She heard his heavy footsteps as he cleared his throat.

"What time is it, dear?"

She looked at her watch, it was three twenty-six in the afternoon. She sighed, knowing her dad was going to tell her to go to something business related.

"About to be three thirty, why?"

"Oh, you and Yu-jin have a conference at four, related to the engagement. I already informed her, no need to tell her again, be there on time."

"Yes, dad." She answered, hanging up the call. Her dad always presumed she was going to be late, even though she was always on time.

She looked at her friends faces, their expressions clearly stated that they over heard the phone call. They looked lightly disappointed but nodded, letting her go off. She waved at them before leaving.
