Struggling to carry her heavy luggage on the stairs, Léa finally managed to make her way downstairs. She had just arrived in Vancouver yesterday and hadn't even had a chance to unpack before, and today was her first day at university. The weight of her bags seemed to mirror the weight on her shoulders as she navigated the unfamiliar surroundings. The exhaustion from the long journey combined with the anxiety of starting a new chapter in her life made her feel vulnerable and overwhelmed.
Great,
“Screw my life!” she growled slightly,
"You should've asked for help," A deep, masculine voice startled Léa as she struggled with the heavy bags of her luggage. It wasn't her uncle's voice, so she turned around to see Liam standing in the kitchen doorway. He leaned casually against the door. Liam was dressed impeccably in a crisp white shirt, tucked into sleek black pants. His soft, tousled hair fell effortlessly over his forehead, and his piercing gray eyes shamelessly roamed over her figure.
She’s wearing a light brown sleeveless high neck sweater tucked in her wide leg black jeans and she let her hair free.
She looks so flawless!
Léa gritted her teeth, feeling uncomfortable under his intense gaze. "Eyes up, Liam," she said firmly, trying to assert herself. She didn't appreciate the way he was watching her. He chuckled deeply, then cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure.
"Only Liam? Where did that monsieur go?" he asked, folding his arms over his broad chest. Léa noticed the slight hint of annoyance in his voice. She had addressed him by his first name, without the respect he felt he deserved.
"Is that bothering you?" she questioned, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. She refused to let him intimidate her.
He shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "Of course not, but I am older than you." He reminds her that he’s older than her.
"I don't care," she rasped, rolling her eyes at him. She wasn't about to let his age be an excuse for his condescending behavior.
"Such a brat," he muttered under his breath, but Léa heard it loud and clear. Before she could retort, her uncle So Min and Aunt Dan entered the living room, followed closely by her mother.
Dan comes closer, with her kind eyes and gentle smile, greets Léa with a sense of familiarity and affection. "Good morning Léa," she said, her voice filled with warmth.
“Good morning, everyone” Léa answered not meeting her eyes with Evelyn.
“Ready to go?” Mrs. Dan asked,
“Yup" Léa responded curtly, her voice lacking enthusiasm.
“Before you go let’s eat breakfast” Dan said,
“No aunt Dan, I'm not hungry and I don't want to be late for college on the first day.” Léa declined her aunt's offer for breakfast, stating that she did not want to be tardy for her first day of college. She had already calculated the travel time and knew that leaving at this moment would ensure she arrived on time, which was a journey of 2 hours and 45 minutes.
“Liam will drop you to the university Léa, is that okay for you?” So min asked, she looks at Liam direction who is already looking at her smirking, Léa took a moment to consider before agreeing. Despite finding Liam creepy, she felt she could handle him. Liam then approached So min and respectfully bowed to her.
“Liam be careful while driving, don't pull out any stunts. If he does, léa tell me” Liam smiled and shook his head, so min always warned him don’t drive fast. Léa nodded silently. Just as they were about to leave, Evelyn called out to Léa.
"Léa, wait," she said, causing Léa to pause and look back at her mother. Evelyn went to the kitchen and returned with an apple and a banana.
“Eat this on the way” Evelyn said, handing the fruits to Léa and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
“Careful honey, I’ll call you in the evening” Evelyn said with affection, but Léa remained silent. She was still upset with her mother, so she didn't utter a word. Evelyn sighed as she watched her daughter walk away.

And then he heard the sweet sound of her giggles, like music to his ears. She held a small rabbit in her tiny hands, gently caressing its fur against her neck.
"You're ticklish," she said in her adorable baby voice, giggling. Just as he was about to approach her, his alarm abruptly rang out.
"Damn it," Jungkook groaned in frustration. He longed to see the face of the little girl who had haunted his dreams for the past 14 years. He had tried countless nights to sleep peacefully, hoping to see her face, but the dream never progressed further. He only ever saw her enchanting eyes and heard her melodic giggles; he is becoming more familiar with them over time.
He lived his life surrounded by many girls with blue eyes, hearing their laughter, but it was never the same as his dream girl, or rather, dream baby. There was something different about her, something powerful that held him captive.
He had become addicted to this dream, or rather, obsessed with this little girl whose face he didn't even know. When he was eight years old, he lost his memory in an accident, and that's when the dreams began.
Initially, he brushed it off as just a simple dream, not making much of it. But as days turned into years, nothing changed.
He threw the white blanket aside and sat up in bed, leaning against the headboard. That's when he noticed his little buddy standing proudly.
"No, buddy, get the hell down," he muttered in his groggy morning voice to his manhood.

Because of her, he moved into this penthouse, leaving his parents behind.
Because of her, he struggled to focus on anything at times.
Because of her, his sleep was constantly disturbed.
He tirelessly scanned the eyes of every person he encountered, no matter where his journey took him. Yet, he never stumbled upon a clue or even harbored a hint of suspicion towards anyone.
The task of finding her proved to be extremely difficult, but one thing remained certain - the little girl he sought must have grown into a woman by now.
"If I find you, I will hunt you down, woman."
