{Chase}
After asking one of the teachers that accompanied us on the trip, I found the way to my cabin. It was a quaint wooden building with a small porch out front.
I opened the door in trepidation, hoping my only cabin mate wasn't here yet.....
Unfortunately, my luck wasn't too good with that. My eyes caught on to who it was; a guy with a toned body chiseled down like a marble statue, all in his just a towel around his waist. Droplets of water slowly streaming downward his skin, his abdomen tracing down a line of hair..... I quickly looked at his face and searched through the features to figure out who it was.
The witty grin that arced across one side, the way his smile lines curved up to his delicate blue eyes.... He combed his dark, wet hair over and looked over to me. I was petrified. I had no idea what to say.
"Hey, you must be the other guy sleeping in this cabin. Nice to meet you." The deep timbre in his voice was enough to snap me back to reality.
I sighed, and placed my bags on one of the other beds. "Aiden Carter, huh...." I mutter under my breath.
His hearing must be good, as he seemed to have heard my muttering.
"Hm? Ah. Yes, so you do know me." Aiden laughed, I turned to him and he was grappling with a blue shirt over him. Once he put it on, he made his way to me and extended an arm for a handshake.
I look down at his hand, pondering for a few seconds before tentatively taking it. "The name's Chase Luna. No need to introduce yourself, no one in this camp forgets a star athlete of our school...."
He fervently shook my hand and laughed again. He was pretty loud, not that I was against it. It just felt a little surprising.
"So, Chase. What're you here for?" He sat on his bed and began to make conversation with me as he pulled his phone out.
I forgot phones were allowed on the trip..... Not that I cared. I brought my own. Though not many on it right now. Just Red, Hal and a few others.
"My brother forced me. That, and...." I refrained from speaking. I looked over to him, and he gazed at me with interest.
"You have a brother?" He asked. Seemingly incredulous.
I smiled and then continued, "Yes. I have a brother. He came here with me in fact, Redmond said it'd be better if I slept elsewhere though. Not like we had a choice for that anyways." I mumbled that last part.
Aiden nodded, "Alright." He went back to texting on his phone. And, feeling bored, I decided to take out my phone as well.
I got a text from Red.
[Yo, where R U??! Come quick. HP is going insane]
"HP?" I spoke quietly, then it hit me. High Priestess. I sighed and stood up, intending to leave.
But before I could, I heard an inquisitive voice behind me.
"Where you off to?" Right.... I almost forgot about Aiden.
"Uh, just going to head off to see my friends is all." I gave an excuse, but really it actually wasn't. If anything, it was the most diluted version of the truth I could give him.
"Hm. Okay."
With that, I left. I knew I had no other choice but to follow the auras. But, I knew it'd take me way too long to get to where they are.
I looked around, and my eyes settled on a puddle of water. Conveniently enough, this was a good time to practice.....
While checking around to make sure no one was watching, I reached down to the puddle of water and solidified the reflection on the surface. With a soft touch, the puddle rippled and opened a doorway into the Mirror World.
