Charlie's POV
I entered the bathroom where Ashley is brushing his hair into a quiff.
Ashley" Hello, you"
Charlie" What are you doing today?"
Ashley" Let's see... um, homework. I have to study for the oceanography test, Oh, I definitely want to take some photos today, what with everything that's been going on I haven't been able to do any of it"
Charlie" It has been a crazy couple of weeks right"
Ashley leans on the sink.
Ashley" How are you, are you okay?"
Charlie" Yeah, I am a bit tired but doctor said I should get up and about"
Ashley" Are you going to see Leo today?"
Charlie" I might do, it depends if he wants people there, he is having therapy today, messaged me this morning"
I sigh and then burst into tears. Ashley takes this as his cue to put his arm around me.
Ashley" Hey, it's alright, come here"
Charlie" It's just what if Leo never gets better, I mean I know I've said this before but what if he doesn't, he might have to spend the rest of his life in that rehab facility"
Ashley" Hey listen to me, you are both strong people I know you, you get it from your dad who is also an incredibly strong person"
Charlie" Thanks Ashley, really happy I have you right now, with my dad always busy and my brother in hospital it's nice to have someone with me"
My Louie pings and I pull it from my pocket. Ashley looks over my shoulder.
Charlie" Oh, it's my dad,he says he wants everyone to come back and help him and Ryan set up for the conference, I guess it's back on"
Leo's POV
I had been making my way along the corridor, the nurse had given me a walker and I was trying to move, it had only taken me an hour to get down one corridor.
Nurse" Good job, Leo.You've really come a long way since you got here"
I sighed. I wish my sister and dad were here but I knew there was a huge conference going on so they were not going to come.
Leo" Can we try it without the walker?"
Nurse" Leo, I think it's too early. Maybe tomorrow"
Leo" I'm ready"
Nurse sighs.
Nurse" Okay"
She takes the walker away and I attempt to walk, I think I am doing well until I smash to the floor.
