I stood in front of the mirror, observing my reflection. My lips were swollen and my eyes were red, causing a sense of disgust to wash over me.

The scent of him lingered on my body, making me feel even more repulsed.

Determined to rid myself of his presence, I grabbed a spare brush and vigorously scrubbed my skin until it turned red.

After taking a bath, I cautiously faced the mirror once again. As I caught a glimpse of his reflection, I instinctively flinched back in fear.

Closing my eyes, I let out a scream, only to find that he had vanished.

"He had become nothing more than an illusion haunting my thoughts".

The memory of his deep voice and sinister smirk continued to haunt me, leaving me terrified.

"He stole my first kiss, that monster", I cried out, my voice filled with anguish.

The next morning.

I awoke from a restless sleep when Leena gently shook me.
Concerned, she reassured me.

"Shira, don't worry, Nothing will happen".

I could only nod in response, tears already streaming down my cheeks.

"Try to forget what happened yesterday, my dear".

Don't leave the house until I return from the US.

"I don't want to go when you're like this," she whispered, but I knew it wasn't possible.

Leena hugged me tightly, offering comfort in her embrace.
I remained silent, simply nodding my head.

"Take this phone, it's my old one. Always keep it in your pocket," she instructed, handing me a phone.

Uncle was not at home, as he had left for work early.

"Stay strong, Shira"

she said, placing her hand on mine, providing a sense of care and calmness.

In my state of distress, I had forgotten to eat. After freshening up, I dressed in a simple, modest dress with long sleeves.

Just as I was about to settle into my solitude, the doorbell rang, causing fear to grip me.

Reluctantly, I made my way to the door, unsure of who could be on the other side.

To my surprise, it was David.

"Hey, Shira,"

He greeted me.

However, I was in no mood to engage with him and firmly told him to leave.

"I don't have time to speak with you either," he retorted.
Frustrated, I urged him to go away.

"Uncle instructed me to bring a significant blue file to his room".

The urgency in David's voice was evident as he raised it.

Without wasting any time, I handed him the file. However, his demeanor changed as he looked at me, deep in thought about something.

"Why didn't you give this file to your dad?"

David asked, his words causing me to misunderstand his intentions.
Yet, there was a hint of fear in his eyes.
