"I can't fucking believe this" she muttered under her breath, realizing that she had just gotten stood up by Theodore after waiting for him for two hours.

Why would he stand her up? Did he not like her or something? Did she do something wrong?

Maybe she got him all wrong, maybe his interest in her was a facade. It didn't matter, she was fuming with anger at that point.

If he didn't actually like her, why didn't he just say so? Why did he have to make her believe that he did? Why did he lead her on?

Or maybe this was something else. Maybe he forgot, maybe something came up. But still, couldn't he have told her?

She decided to wait for a few more minutes, leaning on the wall of some random store as she lit a cigarette, tapping her foot up and down trying to control her anger and disappointment.

One of the traits both Riddles got from their father was his anger. Their mother didn't have one bad bone on her body, she was always a positive person, always tried to see the good in people.

What the hell did she see in their father? Maybe he was a different person back then, or a different person with her. It didn't matter.

Josephine tried desperately not to inherit her fathers anger and violent side, but in that moment she felt like she could murder someone.

She was used to people disappointing her, but she did not expect it from Theodore. She though he was different, she though that he was sweet inside that cold exterior he kept around others.

Guess she was wrong.

"You waiting for someone?" A familiar voice asked, causing her to turn around.

"Adrian Pucey" She said eyeing him up and down as she took a drag out of her cigarette.

"Josephine Riddle" he said as he stood next to her, leaning his back against the wall the same way she did. "Didn't have you for a smoker" he said as he looked at her taking another drag of her cigarette, eyeing her up and down as if she was pray.

"Guess your assumptions were wrong then" she said trying to hold back her anger that was not targeted at him.

"I guess they were. So? Are you going to tell me who it is that you are waiting for?" He asked in a cocky tone, as if she was just going to tell him without a second thought.

"Maybe I'm not waiting for anyone" she replied with her eyebrow slightly raised.

"Come on, I'm sure a pretty girl like you wouldn't be sitting in Hogsmade all alone" his sentence made her scoff at the reveal of his arrogance.

"You're talking as if you know me, which you don't" She said in a threatening tone, which he didn't pick up on.

"What if I want to? What if I wanna know who you really are?" He said causing her to roll her eyes as she took a final drag from her cigarette before throwing it on the floor and stomping on it.

"Then I guess you'll need to try harder next time" she said as she gave him a small fake smile before walking off.

Instead of apparating back to Hogwarts, she decided to walk. She needed to clear her mind and not jump into the worst case scenario, which she did every time.
