Loki's exhaustion was evident as he lay on the floor, his usual pomp and circumstance gone. Bucky gazed at him with a mix of concern and adoration, still trying to process what had just happened. He couldn't believe he had attacked his friends, and the guilt weighed heavily on him. But seeing Loki sacrifice his own strength to save him...it was a debt he couldn't repay.

"Loki?" Bucky whispered, brushing a strand of hair from his face. "Hey, come on, wake up. You did too much, didn't you?"

The god of mischief groggily opened his eyes, a small smile playing on his lips. "Worth it," he whispered back, his voice hoarse from the effort.

Bucky helped Loki into a sitting position, propping him against the wall. He grabbed a blanket from the nearby couch and wrapped it around Loki's shoulders, trying to warm him up. The silence between them was comfortable, a new understanding hanging in the air.

As the others returned, they found Bucky and Loki like this, surrounded by the aftermath of the battle. Steve and Natasha exchanged worried glances, but Tony just shook his head and muttered, "Of course, it's those two."

The tension eased as the team realized Bucky was indeed back, and Loki had saved him. But as they began to clean up and tend to the wounded, Bucky couldn't shake off the feeling that he had been given a second chance-and it was all thanks to Loki.

How's that? I'll continue with Chapter 3 if you'd like!
