It's been a couple of hours since Nova left and honestly I've been chilling and watching tv. I love how even this early on she sets this calm aura and it really does make me relax.

I checked the time on my phone and being that it was 8 something I decided to fix myself a hot pocket and then start working on editing some of the graduation photos I took yesterday.

I love this time of year and being able to make people's accomplishments a hundred times better with my skills.

I grabbed my headphones and really got in my zone. Like 20 minutes later I received a call. I grabbed my phone to see who it was.

Of course I answered, I love my mom. She really is my rock.

"Hey my baby", she said as soon as the phone connected. For 22 years she has been calling me this and it has NEVER failed to put a smile on my face.

We talked about any and everything but mainly Brii and how I should leave her alone.
"Mere I know and I keep trying but then I always feel bad for how I treated her.." I said as I began to tear up from the stress this situation has put on my mental.

"And that's fine my baby but how long ago was that? Y'all are both GROWN and it's getting old" she explained..

I realized in the end that she was right and I made a plan to break things off in person in a couple of days. With that my mere was content and let me go.

It was now 9:45 ish and Nova creeped her way into my mind, making me realize she never let me know if she made it to work or not so I just texted her.

I tried to hide my smile but of course I was looking forward to her call. I just sat on my phone and scrolled through ig while I waited.

When her FaceTime came through I answered before it could even ring all the way, yes im that thirsty.
"heyyyyyyyyy" she exclaimed in her cute and soft voice. "wassup ma" I said, tryna act nonchalant. "you so prettyyyy" she flirted innocently and I started blushing which only made her compliment me more. I love that she acknowledges that I am very feminine but I do have my masculine side as well. She doesn't think im a boy, yay!

We talked about what I've been up to since she left and she agreed to model for me sometime soon to boost my clientele. I was in the middle of telling her how my mom thinks I should do photography full time instead of on the side when Brii started calling my phone and hanging up.
