I just got off of work and I was TIRED! I'm a pharmacy technician at Walmart, it's really nothing fancy but the pay is decent.
I'm supposed to be filling scripts, doing authorizations, inventory, and compounding but im really just a cashier for medicine.
Nonetheless, my feet were killing me.
"oh.. I thought you were talking to me" Sway said as she walked out of the kitchen holding a bowl "i guess I'll just keep this then" she dragged
A lot has changed in the past few months.. I moved in all of the way and I switched to online school. My dad met Sway, but disapproved of me living with her and not attending in person classes anymore..
I found out why he was acting weird, i went to visit him maybe 2 weeks after my birthday and he had moved his mistress and her son into my mother's house. I felt betrayed at first but there was nothing I could do except for delete him from my life.
He begged for me to have a relationship with his other child, that is NOT my sibling, but i refused.
I have gotten closer with Sway's family, i often hang out with Sayora and babysit Lyric since i don't work as much as I used to.

I got a closer look at the bowl and seen she'd fixed our favorite snack, strawberries with chocolate drizzled over them.
"I missed you too baby.. I got us tickets to see that movie you wanted to see" she said as she gave me a kiss, rubbing my back
my heart literally melted 🥹
everything that i say i want, she makes it happen.. i don't even have to ask most of the time.. like she just pays so much attention to my happiness

I sat down on the couch, grabbing the bowl as she handed me a fork.. she sat down next to me and grabbed my legs, laying them in her lap. "how was work mama?" "it was okay, im just tired and my feet hurt.. what did you do while i was gone?" I said before eating a strawberry
"i went to see my mom and i took Nala with me.. when we got back i gave her a bath and we've just been chilling. I got a few edits done on some photos i took yesterday too" she said as she began to massage my feet
it honestly felt so good, and she knows it's my favorite thing after work.. "you should just put your two weeks in. ain't no point in you working forreal" she said
