It's currently 12:30pm and I had just submitted my last assignment for the year. Finally, i literally cannot wait to be done with school.
I'm using today as my self care/reset day. I only have 2 things to do, get my hair done and then get my nails done and might do a little light shopping too.
I haven't talked to Sway since her girlfriend texted me that night. I wasn't really hurt, just disappointed because I thought we were getting to know each other better but hey 🤷🏾♀️.
I got up from my desk and headed to my closet to pick out an outfit. "Why do I have so many clothes but no outfits.." I mumbled to myself, before deciding to just put on a light mauve colored sweatshirt with some black joggers. I slipped on my favorite crocs, the cream colored ones. I really just love dressing down ngl.
My phone started ringing and I looked at the contact only to see it was Sahara.. I went ahead and hit the red X. DECLINED 🚫 "there's no point in watering a dead flower.." I thought as I grabbed my keys and walked to my car.
I'm so excited to get cute and take pictures.. I know I'm pretty but lately I haven't been feeling like it. I definitely needed this.
My friend Sierra has been doing my hair for a while now so i already know it's gonna look good.
- Once I made it to her shop, I grabbed my purse and water then headed inside.
"Hiiii" I spoke to everyone as I made my way over to Sierras chair. It was set up and organized in a way that fits her personality, calm and lowkey.

Everyone replied and went back to doing their own thing. It always smells so good in here, like coconut oil and bananas.
"Hey boo" Sierra said as she came around the corner with her comb and blow dryer in hand as she gave me a side hug with her free hand.
I sat my bag down as well as my water and went over to the sink. "Go ahead and relax all the way back.. Nova ALL the way." She said as I tried to make myself comfortable. Idk it's something about that lil dip in the sink that makes my neck HURT.
She turned the water on and set the temperature to lukewarm. "Girl why are you so tense? You need to relax boo" Sierra said softly
- "It's been so long since I seen you omgg" I said as she washed and massaged my scalp "Girl I KNOW I've been booked and busyyy but you know I missed you" she replied
"Girlllll let me tell you about Sahara! She has been moving so funny these past few weeks.." I vented, she chuckled lightly as she began telling me about how she always had a bad feeling about Sahara..
"Alright you can head to the chair and I got you a pillow this time for your back" She said while putting her products away and rinsing out her sink.
I feel relieved already just from her washing my hair. It also felt nice to vent to someone about my life and my fake friendship.
