Chapter 9: Babysitting

Having Jacob at my house was scary to say the least. Or sorry having my BOYFRIEND at my house because he finally came to his senses and asked me out! We make our way upstairs towards my bedroom. As I open my door Jacob's is just standing there. "Hey what's wrong?" I ask looking up at his face "Do you think what we're doing is wrong." "What do you mean?" I asked him "Well your cousin is down stairs, not like this is wrong but like..." he said while his voice drifted away. "She's sleeping, don't worry b-babe" I stuttered. Right as I finished speaking, Jacob crashed his lips against mine.

We must have been making out for quite a while because I heard Charlie (my little cousin) crying down stairs. "O-oh shoot she's awake" I said,, while running down the stairs to check on Charlie. Turns out she was just hungry so I fed her and then went back upstairs. "Is she ok?" Jacob questioned "Yea, just hungry that's all!" I
replied while sitting back down on my bed. "Wanna stay the night?" I asked.

I was so pissed at Jason and I still am but I can't worry about that right now because I have to get ready for the local bake sale that I'm helping out with.

*Time skip- At the bake sale*

I was just finishing up decorating when I dropped one of the cupcakes on a boy. "Shoot! I'm so sorry!" I yelled "I-it's ok don't worry, it happens to the best of us! I'm Axel... Axel Grant" he responded. "I-I'm Caitlin... uh Caitlin Blake!" I said while I grabbed some napkins for Axel.

After that awkward conversation had finished Axel asked for my number, which I thought was a bit weird because he had just met. But I accepted his offer because he is just gorgeous and seems polite too.

*Time Skip- after the bake sale*

~Beep beep~

That was my phone, I've been waiting for Axel to text or call me for a while now and I think he finally just did! Yep! It was him.

Axel: Heyy
Caitlin: Hi!
Axel: What's up
Caitlin: Nothing much just reading, wbu?
Axel: Texting you that's what, wanna hangout?
Caitlin: Yeah sure you can come over if you want!?
Axel: K send me your address, I'm coming rn

I send him my address and run down the stairs quickly to start cleaning. I get downstairs and see Jason having a full on make out session with some random chick. "Jason, is it possible if you bring that up the stairs to your bedroom?" I ask "What? Are you jealous." the girl answered laughing, "No I'm just disgusted." I answered truthfully, "And someone is coming over." I added it as an afterthought. Jason practically threw the poor girl off his lap. "W-who's coming over?" Jason asked defensively "A guy I met, plus why do you care... Are you jealous?" I said, mocking the girl. Jacob just groaned and went upstairs. Thank god because just as Jacob's door shut, I heard a knock on the door. As I opened the door I saw the astonishing face that I'd been waiting to see.
"Hey" Said Axel 
"H-hi" I stuttered
"Can I come in?" He questioned
  "Of course! That's why your here isn't it" I chuckled as I led Axel to my room

It was raining hard outside and Kristina refused to let me go home in the "horrible weather". So I guess I have to stay. "So your saying I should stay the night?" I questioned. "I mean if you don't want to, you don't have to" she responded. "Why wouldn't I want to stay" I uttered while moving closer to her.

*Time skip- a couple of hours later*

It was a dark and foggy night with heavy rain and Kristina was scared that her trampoline was gonna fall down. How childish of her. "But then I'll have to put it all up again and UGH! Liam loves that stupid trampoline!" Kristina went on and on about random things still 10pm. "Oh shit I don't have pj's" I mentioned, "I can ask Liam if he has something, if you want!" Kristina added. "It's ok I can go ask! His room is the one beside the bathroom right?" I walked into Liam's room and got sidetracked by him because he got the new Mario Cart.

Jacob went to ask Liam something but when he left his phone kept going off, someone named "Sarah❤️" kept on texting and calling him! I know there's a girl named Sarah at our school but she's a year older than us, so it's probably not her! But then he got around the 7th call from this girl and I couldn't handle it anymore so I answered it.

"Hey baby, why wouldn't you answer me" said the girl
"Um, who are you?"
"Babe what do mean who am I! I'm your girlfriend!"

I can't believe his ass, he's fucking cheating and although we just started dating today why would he ask me out while dating some other girl!

"H-hey I'm back, sorry I took long me and Liam were playing Mario cart and- what's wrong?" Jacob asked, "Does the name Sarah sound familiar to you?!" I yelled. "Wh-how do you-" Jacob uttered. "So just so I'm not going insane, you asked me out while dating another girl?" I asked angrily. "Uhm... it's a long story but uh I'll just leave..." he mentioned. "We are breaking up if that wasn't clear!" I yelled while he gathered his phone, keys and left.

~on the phone with Caitlin~

Caitlin: HE DID NOT! IM GOING TO KILL HIM!
Kristina: Y-yeah he did but it's fine, this guy named Edward asked me out so maybe I'll accept his offer.
Caitlin: OMG! Yeah you should, is he cute?
Kristina: Yeah he just needs some better hair
Caitlin: K, I gotta go but I'll text you later!
Kristina: Bye!!!

I'm tired, pissed and all of the above so I decided that I will deal with it all tomorrow and that I'm just gonna go to bed.

*Time skip- in the morning*

I woke up the next morning, eyes puffy from the little crying that occurred and my head pounding from god knows what.

"Kristinaaaaaaa" yelled Liam "Ugh what?" I yelled back. "Can you make me toast? Please!" He questioned. "Fine but you have to clean the kitchen afterwards!" I replied.

I made my way downstairs to find Jacob on the coach, "Oh-um hey..." said Jacob "Why are you here?" I questioned. "I just-uh I feel bad about what happened and thought we could talk?" I can't believe what's happening right now.
"Talk? Talk about what Jacob?"
"About us Kristina, Pipers gonna kill me if she finds out I'm single"
"So this is about Piper?" I sassed
Jacob didn't even respond, he just got up and left.
