Spaceman PoV
Spaceman stood outside on the bridge in front of their hotel, staring down in the dark depths of the river below. A violent shiver ran through his body since it was the freezing mid of a winter night and he was not wearing a jacket on purpose.
The ice cold wind that stung on his skin made him finally feel something else than the yearning in his heart.
With a sigh he dropped his head into his hands, careful not to wipe too much and destroy his make-up.
Tears started prickling behind his closed eyelids again, like they did so often in the past couple of days.

This was the last stop on the tour and he just didn't want this to end.
The dreading feeling of change tried to overwhelm him once again and he clawed his nails into the skin on his face but couldn't suppress a soft sob.
He was kind of glad his bandmates didn't notice him leaving early. Demon would probably not understand and make fun of him, Catman would pity him and he definitely didn't want that and then there was Starchild...
Spaceman was so confused about his feelings for the singer since he got into the band.
The charisma and sex-appeal of the other man was tempting and confusing at the same time. Was he flirting with him or not? Because apparently Spaceman wanted Starchild to flirt with him so bad.

But he was probably not, since he was the singer and usually flirting with the crowd and not with his bandmates, but he just couldn't help it.
The yearning feeling in his heart was partly for the singer, craving a deeper emotional connection than bandmates should have.
A soft call from behind pulled him out of his thoughts.
"What are you doing out here? Without a jacket, you're going to catch a cold!"
He laughed uncomfortably and tried to joke "Yes mom..."
Starchild pursed his lips and raised an eyebrow at him, showing that he clearly saw through him.
Then Spaceman gave in with a deep sigh "Fine! I came out here because... y'know. It's... complicated and..."
Noticing how he only rambled half sentences that didn't even make sense he took a deep breath to try it again. Starchild stepped beside him, his dark eyes glued to the glittering city lights in the distance "You don't want this tour to end."

Utterly stunned the guitarist could only nod.
"I feel the same and I always thought I was the only one of us. It's called 'tour-hangover' just in case you care. You can have this nagging feeling for everything that has a clearly set end date, like vacation, tours and even books.
It's not even the fear of something to end but the fear of losing this feeling you have, because it made you feel good and your brain wants it to continue." Starchild explained, his eyes tearing up and his breath hitching.
Spaceman cleared his throat but still only managed a hoarse whisper "Woah, that's some deep psychoanalysis here..."

The singer threw him a sad smile.
Spaceman again stared down into the gurgling river below, his heart pounding hard against his ribs. If Starchild could read him so easily on the whole tour-hangover, could he also see the feelings towards him, he was trying to hide?
"That's not all that's on your mind, is it?"
There it was...
Spaceman closed his eyes again, hanging his head in defeat "No..."
"Want to tell me about it?" The soft tone let the guitarist glance over and quickly avert his gaze again. A warm glow had entered Starchild's brown eyes but there was something else behind it that he couldn't point out.

"I'm so confused by you." He mumbled to the railing of the bridge.
A soft chuckle was the response "How comes?"
Still watching the river and fiddling with a loose chunk of paint on the railing he heard himself say "I felt this attraction to you since I joined the band but I thought you were straight so I never acted on it, but now on this tour it felt like you're constantly flirting with me.
Anyway, it's probably just my imagination running wild and now I completely embarrassed myself in front of you..."
The loud laughter from his bandmate made his cheeks go flaming hot. Determined to not let him see the tears, he continued to stare into the water.

"I'm so sorry, I'm not laughing", Starchild responded, clearly laughing, "It's just... I have been flirting with you for years, but thanks for noticing."
His words made Spaceman's head snap around to him "You... what?"
Still chuckling his bandmate walked over, the way his hips swayed as he confidently strode toward him in his platform heels, the cocky grin on his face and the sparkle in his brown eyes made Spaceman's breath hitch and his heart stumble.

Standing directly before him, Starchild reached out to cradle his face in his warm hands as he softly pecked a kiss on Spaceman's lips.
"Are you okay with this?"
"More than okay." He whispered, pulling the singer close and resting his hands around his waist while pressing his lips to Starchild's.
Even tho the kiss was soft and gentle it made his head spin with joy.
"So you're telling me I could've had this right from the start?" He murmured into Starchild's ear.
The other man giggled and pressed his body to the guitarist's, resting his head against his shoulder.
As they stood there watching the big city in the background Spaceman felt the cold of the night again, this time it wasn't as welcome as earlier this evening.
He tried to suppress a shudder, but couldn't completely hide it from Starchild in his arms. He started to untangle himself from Spaceman's arms which made him whine, but the singer only laughed.

Spaceman pressed another kiss to his lips, now that he had a taste from the forbidden fruit he didn't want this to end yet.
Starchild saw right through him again "We don't have to hide this from the others, you know."
Then he took his hand and pulled him towards the door.
"But we should get you somewhere warmer or you'll really catch your death out here."
Spaceman followed him willingly, completely drunk on the events, thanking God for big city winter nights.
