MATTHEOS POV
"OW what the fuck!" i say as diana threw a book in my face. here we go.
"where the fuck have you been!" diana yells as i hold my hands up in defense.
"i had to go back to my da- father" i say softly as she looks at me with tears in her eyes.
"you left for months, no letter no nothing!" diana shouts as i just put my head down. she doesn't understand, everything i've done is for her.
"i know.. im sorry."
she scoffs before leaving the cabin.
"where are you going diana?!" i say following behind her.
"to clear my head." she says rushing off.
"diana wait!"
"alohomora." she says locking me out.
fuck! this isn't how i wanted this to go.

DIANAS POV
it's been an hour or two since i saw mattheo again. as i'm getting off the train he's no where in sight.
i want to talk to him, i truly do but i just need to process all of this first.
i've done so many things while he was away, things that he might not forgive me for i have no clue how im gonna tell him.
"diana" i hear rose shout as she runs up to me.
"rose? are you ok?" i ask
"yeah um i was hoping to find you here i just want to apologize. i know you didn't know about me and theo i just over reacted." rose says with a small smile
"hey its ok i would've reacted the same." i smile back as she hugs me unexpectedly.
"ive missed you" she says looking back at me.
"ive missed you too. i've got loads to tell you." i say as she smiles.
"come on let's go" she says as we both leave the train station.

"i think i have some weed around here somewhere" rose says as we get to her dorm.
i sit on her bed as she smiles at her drawer.
"found it" she says jumping on the bed getting the rolling papers.
"so while i'm rolling this fat joint what you gotta tell me" she says.
i huff before i speak. "mattheos back" i say.
"what no way really!" she says stopping what she's doing for a second.
"yeah he just popped up on the train out of nowhere. i basically told him to fuck off but now i feel so bad" i say as rose finishes rolling the joint.
"diana he left you man, he might have a good reason for it but you need time before you talk you know." she says lighting the joint.
"yeah.. i guess we'll see what happens" i say.
"here, you need it more than me at the minute" she says passing me the joint as i take a long drag.

me and rose have been talking and smoking for about an hour now. i'm high as a kite.
"rose" i say quietly
"yeah" she says back just as out of it as i am.
"do you ever think about what it'll be like when we die" i say fidgeting with the blanket.
"abit vivid diana.. but sometimes yeah why?" rose reply's.
"just sometimes i feel like im not real you know.. like im just made up." i say as rose chuckles.
"that's my que to leave" she says grabbing her stuff and heading for the door.
"what rose no don't go" i say with tears in my eyes. why am i crying?
"your crazy" she says laughing.
"what! rose wait!" i say before she slams the door.
"well this is your dorm anyway why you leaving" i say sarcastically to myself. i'm not making sense, weed doesn't normally feel like this.
"diana wake up" i hear roses muffled voice.
i wake up in shock.
"heyy it's okay, you got me worried for a second you've been out cold for about 7 hours" she says
"7 hours! what time is it!" i say bouncing up getting my stuff.
"2am you better head back" she says.
"right see you tomorrow" i say quickly before leaving roses dorm.
what the hell was that dream? it felt so real.

i open my dorm door and see mattheo sat on the edge of my bed. i sigh.
"mattheo what do you want. i'm not ready to talk to you yet. god it's like 2am!" i say chucking my bag down on the floor.
"take my hand." he says softly walking up to me.
"no" i say standing my ground.
he smiles and takes my hand anyway.
we apperate to outside the castle just outside of hogsmeade. it's absolutely chucking it down.
"mattheo what the hell it's raining like mad." i laugh as he puts his hand on my cheek.
"i'm sorry for leaving you, im sorry if ive ever done anything to hurt you. but all i can say is i love you so fucking much diana, and i want to be with you." he says shouting over the loud rain, water drenching me and him.
i smile at him.
"your crazy mattheo riddle." i laugh.
he pulls my face towards him and kisses me lightly on the lips as the rain rolls down both our faces.
"i love you too." i say before kissing him deeply but passionately again.
the rain drenching us as the moon light reflects from his eyes. i feel like im in a movie.
"come on" he says pulling me too run.
"mattheo im gonna fall" i shout laughing as we run through the field.
he laughs at my attempt to run in the wet grass as i smile at him.
he stops suddenly and pulls me in for another kiss before saying.
"my angel" he says admiring me out of breath.
i hug him tightly as he kisses the top of my head.
"everything's gonna be alright" he says before aperating us back to my dorm.
