after concert

The concert finally ended and Joey had waved off into the crowd, before stepping down from his set up, meeting me right behind the curtains by his set.

He pulled me into a nice snug hug and pulled his mask off as he did so. His damp hair pressing against my cheek. He pulled away and I smiled at his face.

"You got a little.." I said gesturing towards his eyes jokingly as if he wasn't aware "I got a pimple?" He playfully replied and laughed softly
I chuckled as well and leaned in to give him a kiss. He returned the kiss lovingly.

"How was I?" He asked holding my hand as we walked to the dressing room together "amazing baby! One of your best performances" I said excitedly. "Thank you honey" he said kissing my cheek.

We got to the dressing room and I sat on the counter grabbing a cloth and wetting it. I gently pulled Joey towards me. He stood between my legs and wrapped his arms around my waist as he let me gently begin taking off the grease paint around his eyes.

He stood there letting me take off the paint for he ext 5 minutes quietly and patiently today. Usually he'd be talking my ears off and moving excitedly. He just stared at me majority of the time. "You okay baby?" I asked shyly "you're never this cooperative and quiet" I added.

"Hm. just admiring" he said softly meeting my eyes again. "Admiring what hun?" I asked curiously. "You my love.. everything! Your hair, your beautiful smile.. the way you stick the tip of your tongue out when you're really focused or you bite your lip and furrow your eyebrows. You just look so focused and Determined, it's cute."

I finished wiping his face and frowned softly looking at him "you're so cute thank you Joey" I said giving him a kiss Joey pulled a chair up to the counter and handed me the blow dryer.
"Wanna dry my hair and brush it now?" He asked "can I tie it up in a bun?" I smiled "of course honey" he said

I began drying Joeys hair as he scrolled through his phone. Corey and Mick came in "wanna grab some drinks when you're done?" Corey asked as he waved at me and smiled. Mick smiled as well as his girlfriend came in with him. I waved at her and him. Joey looked at me "wanna go grab a drink after this?" He asked softly. I nodded and kissed his forehead "yeah we'll be there in a little bit" Joey replied

The other left the room again and I turned
Joeys chair around pulling his hair back into a bun and tying it up. He turned back around and pulled me into his lap tucking my hair behind my ear out of my face. He just held me for a second. "Thank you" he smiled. I nodded in response and gave him another kiss.

We eventually got up and went to meet up with Corey and Mick.
