thunderstorms

joeys pov:
Y/n hated thunderstorms and we were supposed too have one tonight. She has always gotten scared of them she told me it just gave her anxiety. Tonight's was supposed too be the worse though.

Me and y/n were sitting on the couch in our apartment watching a movie together when all of a sudden there was this big crash which was the lightening.

As soon at y/n her that she freaked out and practically threw herself on top of me.

To be honest I liked it when she got scared it gave me an excuse to hold her closer.

Then of course our power went out. Y/n seem scared at this point.

"Hey everything is going to be fine the power will come back on tomorrow hopefully" I said trying too calm her down.

"I'm sorry joey I just don't like thunder-" she said then she was interrupted by the loud thunder.

"Hey look at me we will be okay how about we go get ready for bed okay?" I said. She nodded.

I picked her up too the bedroom and layer her on our bed and I took my shirt off and got into bed with her. She jumped on me again holding me.

Well I just held her back because I knew she needed me. Eventually she fell asleep on me. And I fell asleep too.

I woke up to hear some sort of crying I figured it was y/n so I jumped up.

"Hey baby is everything okay what's wrong?" I said.

"I didn't mean to wake you up I'm sorry the thunder woke me up and I didn't want too wake you because it is stupid how I'm scared-" I shut her up with a kiss.

"Hey y/n don't ever be sorry for that I know you get scared but that's what I'm here for to make you less scared so how about let's go back too sleep and I'll hold you for the rest of the night okay?" I said with a smile. She nodded.

"I love you joey" she said.

"I love you y/n" and after that I kissed her goodnight and held her close for the rest of the night till we both fell asleep.
