Months flew by and Diana's stomach grew. the twins were now just over 3 and little was 1. Alec and Diana were fine, Alec had kept what Chelsea said to himself. He didn't want anything to do with her and saw it as only an attempt to be in his life. Months went by without him hearing from Chelsea until she recently started texting him from a number he didn't even know. He kept this from Diana in fear that if he told her what was going on now she'd leave him for not coming to her sooner or worse for not stepping up.
"There he is! 28! " Brandon clapped Alec on the back as he came from the clubhouse, Alec looked around taking in the field tho it wasn't citizens bank he enjoyed the scent of the springtime air.
"Dude we live together?" Alec told him and Bryce chuckled.
"How's that going?" Bryce asked and Alec shrugged.
"He's not too bad, I mean Diana and I have the kids so we don't pay much attention to anything else"Alec told him with a shrug.
"Speaking of, here is my beautiful wife now" Alec said as Diana walked over holding Lily with the twins beside her tho they ran straight to Alec at the sight of him.
"Daddy! Daddy!" The twins shouted in excitement and Alec quickly scooped them up.
"Hi babies" Alec said before kissing Diana.
"Brynn gonna be here today Brandon?" Diana asked referencing one of the ball girls that Brandon had been seeing for a few months now.
"Yea" Brandon said with a blush and Diana rolled her eyes.
"You blush meanwhile you're all over my personal life"Diana said shaking her head at him as Alec took a step back looking at his phone.
"Shoot, I'll be right back ok? I have to take this" Alec said before putting the twins down and kissing Diana quickly before walking off into the clubhouse.
"He okay?" Kay asked curious as she and Diana walked toward the stands.
"I don't know, he's been doing that a lot lately" Diana said shaking her head as Lily waved her hand at him and Diana looked confused.
"She thinks he's there still, anyway a few times I've woke up and he's been not in the bed but on his phone or texting in another room one time I swear I even heard him yelling at someone on the phone"Diana said as she and Kay entered their Box and Diana put Lily down.
"Where's daddy" Kylie asked as she looked around.
"He's not out there yet he's busy look for uncle B" Diana told her and she nodded.
"Chelsea I told you I'm not doing this!" Alec hissed into the phone once in the clubhouse, he looked around but was unaware of Bryce being near by having come in a few seconds after Alec.
"No, I'm not taking him Chelsea! I love my wife and kids! What don't you get?!" Alec hissed into the phone.
"Alec my mother just left him with me and I can't take care of him!" Chelsea cried on the other end.
"Chelsea I have a game! I'll talk to you later goodbye"Alec said frustrated before running a hand through his curls. He hated this not telling Diana and I'm honesty if there were a child he felt sorry for him dealing with Chelsea.
"What was that?" Bryce mumbled to himself not making his presence known.
"I bought my favorite future nephew and nieces and their little buddies some snacks!" Brynn said entering the room as the kids rushed to her.
"You ok?" Kay asked as Diana rubbed her stomach.
"Yea baby B is just excited for the game"Diana said as she felt the baby lightly kick, Soon the Phillies had beat the Yankees and Bryce met up with Kay and Diana before Alec did since he was in the clubhouse still.
"So everything ok with you and Alec?" Bryce asked and Diana nodded as they walked with the kids to the clubhouse.
"Well that's good" Bryce said tho he wasn't entirely convinced.
"There's my girl!" Alec said rushing to Diana although he was sweaty and not even out of uniform.
"Hey!" Alec said embracing her as the twins giggled at Diana trying to free herself from him.
"What's got into you? Who spiked the Gatorade today?" Diana asked feeling Alec's head.
"No one, just excited after a good game!"Alec said before picking Kaden up.
"Daddy you stink" Kaden said with a giggle and Alec put him down.
"Let me freshen up, I'll be back ok?" Alec said before kissing Diana and walking back into the locker room area of the clubhouse.
"Can I talk to you"Bryce asked Kay and she nodded and he pulled her to the side so Diana couldn't hear.
"I think Alec might be cheating on her" Bryce said motioning toward Diana.
"Bryce he was just all over her"Kay said and Bryce told her about how he heard Alec on the phone and it didn't sound good.
"Ok relax, it could've been anything"Kay said trying not to panic herself.
"Finally you smell better"Brandon chuckled before walking away from Alec to go find Brynn suddenly Alec was alone in the Locker room area the other players had all gone off to see their families.
"Hi" a little voice said and Alec just about jumped before turning toward the voice he saw a little boy about six years old just standing there with a backpack on a note in his hand.
"Um hi are you lost?" Alec asked approaching the little boy and it struck Alec as odd that this child didn't move or step back at all as the approached him as if he knew him.
"Are you Alec Boom?" The boy asked and Alec chuckled and figuring the kid was a fan.
"Yea I am" Alec said with a smile.
"Then I'm not lost, your my daddy my mommy said I'm going to live with you now" the little boy said before handing Alec the note and Alec looked stunned.
