"Man she didn't even let me stay and see my fucking daughter! What kind of bitch is she? I fucking hate bitches!" Zac was going off pacing, talking to Zel."Bro no wonder she didn't let you stay, you went in there with this energy?" Zel asked.
"Naw bro I was nice and sweet to her ungrateful ass bro! Every time I'm nice to tbese fucked up ass females they play me!" Zac was still going off.
"You haven't learned yet in all this time." Zel shook his head, "Fatima has a reason for treating you this way! You are behaving as if she's Ciara and you've been doing that since before y'all broke up. Stop categorizing her, calm your ass down and actually treat her like a human being and maybe just maybe she'll open back up and let you see her."
"Why is everything all on Zac? She did shit too" Zac was still pacing. "I hate this fucking bitch"
"You don't hate her bro and that's why you're mad at yourself. You love that girl regardless of how you may try to tarnish her name you know the shit you be saying is bogus." Zel told him "you're hurt and she's hurt and that's okay bro but disrespecting her and trying to drag her name through the dirt ain't cool, you need therapy."
"What's wrong with Zac?" He yelled.
"That," Zel shook his head. "You have all that misplaced anger and the only reason I ain't popped off on your ass yet is because you're family and I'm trying to help you."
"I have a right to be angry!" Zac goes on.
"You do but you angry with the wrong person," Zel explained to him. "That girl did everything for you and was about to drop her career for you nigga, I don't know no woman with a career as big as hers that'll do that for no man."
"I know that," Zac sighed.
"So then act like you know that nigga! I'm sitting here talking you like you a child, you a grown man and you know you need help bro so get it, I gave you the info. It's up to you to use it or not." Zel shrugged.
"I don't think she's gonna come," Zac was looking for any way out of it.
"You didn't try," Zel told him. "And if she decides not to, you still need to go for yourself because this is ridiculous."
"Man I don't know," Zac hesitated.
"Well you think about it," Zel tapped his shoulder. "In the meantime, I'll go check on your daughter and give you some peace of mind and let you know how she's doing."
"Thanks bro," Zac sat there soaking in his misery while Zel headed up to the hospital. When he got there Fatima was up but the bag was sleeping.
"Zel, if you're here to convince me to let him come back, it's not happening." Fatima immediately let him know. "I only allowed you up here because you've been checking on us."
"I'm not sis," he replied. "I'm just here to see how y'all are doing and make sure everything is okay, I have to swap with dinorah and get Amir so she can goto work so I'm just stopping by."
"We're doing okay, she's the sweetest gift I could've ever asked for on this Christmas Day." Fatima smiled.
"She's precious," Zel said, "Mir is going to love her that's all he's been talking about."
"Speaking of Amir, you know he tells everything and I didn't want this to be an issue, but have you been letting him talk to Zac?" Fatima asked.
"Not forcefully, only if one them ask to speak to the other then I let them talk." He admits.
"How come nobody told me this? I mean he left my son and didn't look back, that shit hurt." Fatima confessed.
"I know and trust me he feels like shit for it. But I didn't want to upset you." He told her. "I know Zac isn't his best self right now and I'm trying to help him get back on the right track sis he just needs a little help and some guidance. He's not a bad guy."
"I know he's not," Fatima says. "But I can't have him in and out of her life like he was doing with Amir and I also can't have all that misplaced anger and aggression around her either."
"I get that and I told him that" Zel sighed. "But I also suggested something to him."
"Suggested what?" Fatima made a farce.
"Family therapy," Zel could see from Fatima's face she didn't agree. "Hear me out, Dinorah and I met a couple weeks after you and Zac and I had my son and being a single parent I had some expectations of her and she doesn't have kids so she didn't know how to properly deal with that. She has trauma I have trauma, we were bumping heads a lot and she suggested it and we've been doing so much better."
"And what did he say when you suggested it? Cus if I know him he said something like .... I don't need therapy or what's wrong with Zac" she rolled her eyes.
"He started off with that last one" Zel chuckled. "But he also feels discouraged cause he doesn't think you'll go, but I told him even if you don't, he still should."
"I don't know," Fatima says. "Is it really worth saving?"
"Do you love him?" Zel asked.
"I do, I always will. But is love enough?" She asked.
"Therapy doesn't mean y'all have to be together either, but it will help y'all come to a place of peace." Zel explained.
"Yeah but," Fatima paused. "I'll think about it."
"If not for y'all, then for them kids." He told her. "I have to get going, just think on it."
"Zel wait," She says before he could leave. "Call Zac for me."
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yeah, just put him on speaker, please." She nods. Zel took out his phone and called Zac on speaker as she requested.
"Wassup bro? How is she?" He answered anxiously.
"She's fine," Fatima's voice coming through the phone made Zac smile.
"Ti?" He said.
"You gonna stay on the phone or you gonna come up here and see us?" She asked him.
"I'm on my way right now!" Zac said and Zel could here that happiness in his voice.
"Slow down bro, don't hurt yourself trying to get up here" he chuckled.
"Fuck you bro," Zac laughed. "I'm getting off the phone." He hung up.
"Thanks bro," Fatima chuckled.
"You gonna be good with him?" He asked her.
"Yeah, he's not coming for me so it won't be an issue." Fatima wasn't focused on her and Zac's situation just him seeing Amour.
"Gotcha, well ima head out. I'll bring Amir by when I pick him up." He leaves and Fatima takes a nap until Zac comes.
