"Huh?" She asked him, sitting up."The baby you were pregnant with when you were younger, if you don't mind me asking, what happened?"
"I do mind you asking, so please let's drop this subject." She rolled her eyes and turned over.
"It was just a question," Zac replied.
"Yeah, a stupid one! You think I have a child somewhere with a man that- Zac leave me alone."
"Hold up," Zac turned to wrap his arms around her. "I understand that you're grieving and certain things are triggers but I just thought as your husband we could talk about it, I'm not pressuring you so chill out with all that."
"I didn't keep it," Fatima snapped. "You happy?"
"Why would I be- you know what I'm sorry I asked." Zac says. "I'll let you have it Ti." He turned over to his side and the rest of the night was quiet until they eventually fell asleep.
The next morning Zac woke up and took the kids to school before heading to work. Fatima headed to see Dinorah to talk about this possible album and tour.
"Girl I'm telling you," Fatima sighed. "I don't know what I'm going to do about this, Zac said I should drop an album but it's like with his job and the kids, plus the unmentioned, is that a good idea?"
"Ti, you have to eventually tell him, the longer you wait...."
"I know," Fatima shakes her head. "We had an agreement and I feel like he's going to go back on that as soon as I tell him. He won't understand why I want to make the decision."
"Y'all went to therapy right? And y'all are doing better than y'all were years ago Tima, do not jump to a conclusion on what you think will happen." Dinorah explained to her. "Give him a chance to show you he's fully changed because you've been walking on eggshells to prevent a set back."
"Because I know angry Zac all too well and I don't need that right now. I need him to hear me, listen and understand." Fatima says. "I don't want him blowing up and walking out on me and my kids like he's done in the past."
"And if he does that this time, you know what to do!" Dinorah says. "Just talk to him please because it'll be too late soon."
"What do I even say?" Fatima questioned. "Hey Zac I'm pregnant but I don't we should keep it? He's gonna fucking flip!"
"No!" Dinorah chuckled, "I'd flip too if you said that shit to me just like that. Just talk to him how you do me, explain that you don't have the mental space to raise another child and y'all agreed to stop at 3."
"Or I could just send it back to its sender without him knowing and we can all be happy," Fatima shrugged.
"Y'all fuck like every other damn hour, how is it gonna look with you not giving him none while you secretly heal?" Dinorah asked.
"He better grab a damn lotion bottle or something," Fatima joked. "But seriously I can't do this and he should understand that."
"He should," Dinorah says. "So relax, you're working yourself up for nothing. Let's get back to this album."
"I'm thinking a bad bitch album," Fatima says. "Cus I mean I just... I'm that!"
"Girl you make music about love, life and positivity! Do not get ghetto on me now"
"I know what I do and I love that but damn why do I always have to be a lover girl? I wanna make niggas ain't shit music too! I've been through some shit." Fatima chuckled. "Plus Zac is cool with it, so why not?"
"He's cool until the blogs start talking again, then he wanna fight us both." Dinorah laughed. "But whatever makes you happy, I'm down."
"Good! Because I have this one song that I wrote and I just know it's another number 1!" Fatima says. "Where these people with our food at? I'm hungry as hell."
