𝔹oba Bear Bookshop was located just off campus and quite popular, which is why Wooyoung's wage was so decent. As an avid reader and sweet tooth who needed flexible hours, this had been the perfect gig.
"Wooyoung, could you please take this to that couple over there?" asked Seonghwa in English, to which Wooyoung replied in kind.
His English wasn't terrible, though it could definitely be better, and Park Seonghwa, his hyung and boss had studied abroad in Australia before returning to start this business. Wooyoung had been working here over a year now.
San was coming to pick him up after his shift to go to his dad's house. It's just a house, Wooyoung. He'd just come home from the dance studio with Yunho when he'd called out to greet a man who wasn't there.
But like he always told himself, Wooyoung was going to focus on the good, of which there was a lot now.
"...Pirates have raided another shipment travelling from the Yellow Sea, following several shocking incidences believed to be committed by the same perpetrators. Such acts of piracy have not tainted Korean shores for centuries..."
Wooyoung passed the wall-mounted flatscreen playing the news as he came to the correct table.
"Here you go," he said with a smile to the couple. "The blueberry cheesecake and hot milk teas, right?"
They nodded and thanked him, and Wooyoung left to do the rounds.
"Hey, Artsy Hoe!" called out some bitch from the entrance that called herself his friend. "I'd like an iced Americano, pretty please."
Wooyoung blew Giselle a kiss, which she returned with a heart, whilst Hongjoong made a show of diving out of the way and Yunho pretended to choke on it. After their display, and the odd glances it received by the customers who weren't regulars, the three took a seat at one of the wall-lining tables.
Wooyoung made the usual for the three and brought everything over on a tray.
"Wow, Wooyoung," gushed Giselle dramatically as he lay the drinks down. "You look so trim, it must be from all the running yesterday."
Hongjoong almost spat out his drink. "You ran? Was the floor on fire?"
"I nearly got hospitalised by a flying bag," contemplated Yunho.
"You guys are too sweet," said Wooyoung, but then sat on Yunho's lap and draped himself over like a coat. "But I only passed you the bag because you're so big and strong."
Yunho, a seasoned professional at accepting his hubae's love, barely even flinched when Wooyoung said that right against his ear then kissed him on the cheek.
