Rapunzel still asleep in her dreams.

"No, please don't you'd ruin him Father."
"I never was your Father, Princess Grettiannal you never treated me like your birthfather in the first place?!"
"I do love you step-father, I love you just as much as salt on food for the best food is tasteless without salt!"
"Salt! How dare you?!" He roared. The whole castle shook under his anger. "For that insolent your twin brother will forget how precious in the eyes of others including yours. Bring Hans into and he whispered to the son who he assigned Ioannes. "Fetch me the goblin king's gifts."
"But your Majesty, we've never used the magic before the kingdom will not forget we betrayed their trust let alone our allies, Father."

"Take the flowers your Mother loved so much they come from The Nature Witch of the Tale of Seven Tales. She really likes a daughter to tend to who won't runaway on her anymore. Plant in them in the center of town and coal to the bottom of the watering can water them times a day until you pass number 14th time of watering and let the flowers do their memory swiping magic."
The trusted bowed took the flowers his Mother handed him. The Princess struggled held back the guards.
"You can't do this, I beg of you stop!" groaned Princess Gretta as the people called her for short. "This isn't right, Step-Papa, Stepfather, have you no mercy to see the innocents you oppress daily before your eyes."
"You will not talk to me about how I rule my kingdom of The Southern Isles, young Captain bind her hands and feet to that pillar.
The oldest son appeared with two servants carry two perfectly made glass hearts on a half gold and silver tray. These glass hearts were no normal home decor. No, the glass shards of the mirror that caused Kai's curse lots of them fell into The Southern Isles. The king bade the courtiers and every which one they found in his courtyard to the royal glass-smith. They were both so greedy for wanting to understand the way this magic of controlling other people worked, that neither king nor smith wore gloves while creating the deadly hearts they craved and so magic affected them. The king who held  the throne currently was his brother and thought the hearts were meant to be used as a correcting tool unaware they caused the very demise of his older brother who signed on his deathbed before hanging himself as result of guilty conscious for his stupid actions nightmares had plagued him ever night and he had no peace in sleep. He begged his wife to marry his brother who stayed loyal the crown and asked the brother to look after all 14 of his kids. And on the letter it said Princess Gretta would take the throne one day as rightful heir of The Southern Isles. The brother had made a promise to his older brother that he would do everything in his power to raise his kin right but unfortunately the dark decision of the older brother fell upon the family. The wife of the former king fell ill and was confined to her bed.  No Sage the experts of healing in all their land could not heal her. The Soothsayers and Wise Woman and Wizards of the town said in order to gain knowledge or the actual real care he would have to give up one or perhaps two of his brother's children preferably the rightful heir. He couldn't bear the thought of the consequences of breaking his promise to his older brother more than the curse tormenting them in the current moment right here.
An expert scholar and his sister came seeking shelter. They were both hooded and cloaked and did not show their faces. Underneath them were no other than the two kids who met the Snow Queen herself and undid such a curse on Kai with her frigid magic.

"The Snow Queen could cure this entire kingdom including the Queen Mother of this realm, but the Snow Queen is not summonable, she will come in her own time and her own will to solve it." Kairson told the Prince who was in the room with his Mother sitting at her bedside. Commotion was heard in the throne-room. All three of them went out.
"Let me go!" groans Hans. "You should never treat a Prince like this, and why is my sister bound?"
"Stepfather, what are you doing?" asked Oannes.
"None of your business son, stay back out of this. These two need correcting punishment."
Kai drew the dagger he kept in his pocket and threw it. It hit the crystal ball of magic shattering it directly what a bullseye direct it was. Startled the servants dropped the magic affected glass heart and it shattered but the incantation was already complete. Hans felt an intense pang on tension from his heart and mind arguing.
"What have you done?" gasped Kai.
"I dulled their idioticness and silliness and fondness of each other."
"You will regret this night." warned Gerda immediately. "That is not what those hearts do. It won't correct anything here it will only make things worse." She picked up the key that bound the Princess in chains to the pillar of the throne room. She unlocked the Princess's chains, and said, "Watch and learn. And listen better. Your brother should have stopped while he was ahead of the game and none of these would have needed to be causing pain to anyone here at all."

Thus Princess Gretta revealed how she changed laughing haughtily. "The world is nothing but gloom and doom to so now that is all see and every one of you are such mediocre fools except my dear birthmother who lays weak in bed. Hans, why tear up on my behalf?" She asked. Gerda's heart shrank four times that day. He was crying. But what could she do? The current king was too consumed by magic of the Goblin's mirror residue to be reasoned with anymore. And she had no magic herself either. . .
