Flynn knocked on Rapunzel's room door.
"Rapunzel? It is Eugene, may I come in?"
"Yes, you may love." She answered sniffling tears running down her face.
"Whoa, you're crying that bad." said Flynn opening the door. It was so bad that her face was a ghastly rose red color. The room was simmering in a hot heavy fog and steam was still rising.
"I can't help it." moans Rapunzel stress brushing her crazy golden hair with weird new powers she never asked for. "Everything I do for my parents, I somehow upset them. Sometimes I feel like Gothel loved me better than them."
"Oh, don't say that." said Flynn.
"I knew you'd say that." stammered Rapunzel. "I taught you to start seeing the better perspective of things."
Flynn chuckles away at that. "True, Sunflower. But things will get better, Storms don't last forever, sweetheart."
"The last time I felt comfortable was with my cousins in Arenedelle even with the whole diabolic Elsa accidentally stirred up at least she and her people didn't pester with rule abiding."
"I get the feeling Arenedelleans are raised way more relaxed than your parents, Punzie."
Rapunzel blushed and cooed to him. "If they wanted me to be better prepared why won't my parents just sit me down and have a talk honestly about customs I totally need to know, honestly, Gene. How hard is that?"
"Probably harder than you think," responds Flynn. "No parents should ever want to feel the pressure to be overly bossy to their children."
"You have a point there, handsome." agreed Rapunzel kissing him on both cheeks wrapping her arms around his shoulders and pulling him up off his feet onto her bed and they rolled round on the mattress till Flynn's eyes were looking up into Rapunzel's sweet green eyes.
"I understand what a headache that would be especially if someone accused me of being way too bossy too, Eugene."
Her stomach growled.
"You're hungry." said Flynn.
"I'm not going."
"If you aren't going I will walk right out the castle front door."
"You're joking?!" questioned Rapunzel.
"You know I don't lie to you or anyone anymore, Punzie."
"I still don't believe you." She gasps. "You wouldn't dare!"
"I would because it is a silly thing for you to refuse to eat because you heard something you didn't like to hear."
"We're husband and wife." groaned Rapunzel.
"Yes, and sometimes we've both got to bear and grin it, Rapunzel."
"I'm not going." Rapunzel said defiantly.
"Fine! Come find me in the woods when you're ready to realize you need to eat food."
"Fine." answered Rapunzel stubbornly. And Flynn did exactly what he said he would taking only Maximus and riding into the woods where they met.
"I'll wait here, no, Max, the apples are for you. If Rapunzel wouldn't eat I won't eat either." He answered. "Enjoy."

Pascal squeaks at Rapunzel.
"Oh, c'mon, that was so not an over reaction as you say it was." states Rapunzel. "He was so still joking. Knowing Eugene he loves to eat. He can't be in the woods right now. He just can't be!"
Pascal furrowed his eyes at her and frowned.
"Seriously, you never wanna think whatever I end up doing is right. You know you're just a chameleon. Before I returned to the palace you wanted me to climb from the tower from the very beginning of my movie and now you want me to chase after some high strong man who is my boyfriend, eugh."
Rapunzel was being unusually haughty this time of year in her kingdom. Something that rubbed off on her from Mother Gothel and she could not recognize it. She got lost in her youthful idealistic thinking of wimsy that she had no idea she practically flicked Pascal off her shoulders as she got dressed for bed closed her doors and lay down to sleep ready for the peace of the night. She longed in her dreams to be back to her brunette self with her magic tears.

A mysteriously cold and edgy voice called out to her. "Oh riders and sailors of The Unicorn and Nook beware the curse of The Glass Hearts."
It made every bone in her body tremble, The Unicorn was the name of a sailing ship in Corona's realm with the bow being bestowed of a unicorn's head. (You can see it in the Tangled movie for a slight second as Flynn rowed Rapunzel out onto the bay) The Nook was also the new Arenedellean ship named in honor and response of the Northuldra people part in helping Elsa and Anna save their Arenedelle citizens. It was upon that ship, Hans stood looking out across the open ocean waters, nerves over-firing both with fear and excitement. Traveling a route he had never traveled for about three years.
"C'mon down to your cabin, my honored guest, you'll catch a cold out here." said the old man from the steps who sent Elsa to fetch him.
"That horse head who is of? I've never seen the like of it of it before?"
"That is the image of the Nook the Water Horse, Queen Elsa had it commissioned to my people before she left the castle and joined us to live amongst us."
"She left the castle?" inquired Hans surprised a little by this.
"You didn't hear by now?"
"My family told me nothing of the goings on in Arenedelle until I got sent home a traitor to them. My family hasn't communicated with Arenedelle or me since. Before you arrived my brothers were being real bullies to me and the horse I brought along with me. I know why she wants contact. She sees what I know could happen the Duke of Westleton is no friendly man, but I doubt my ability to make an alliance will convince my Father not to side with the Duke seeing as he no longer respects me as a son. He just disowned me. Just like he did my sister. It is like he has a glass heart and he took a shard filled with accursed weight of misery and hate and stuck in both of us and separated us and made us we believe we were both such disgraces to our kingdom. I feel like the Princess in the story of The Goose Girl at the Spring whose Father asked. "How much do you love me?" She gave the right answer. "I don't know. There is nothing I can compare to your love." But he pushed further demanding she state an actual item. And she came up with quite the clever response that was also accurate. "Well, the best food doesn't ever taste good without salt. I love you as much as salt."
He chased her out of the castle of his only giving her a heavy bag of salt to carry upon her bag.
"Beware the curse of the Glass Hearts!" The mysterious voice whispered on the wind to Hans just as it did to Rapunzel while she was dreaming.
"What?!" exclaimed Hans.
"Beware the Glass Hearts!" the mystery voice called out again it sounded like the jingling of sleigh bells one expected on Christmas Eve but not anything ever stirred in the sky at all.
