{Okay so I know everyone else writes Gajeel as like this super blushy boy and everything when he is with levy. And yes he doesn't show his feeling much but he's still pretty abrasive so yeah. I write how I wanna}

When Levy woke up everything felt like a dream. The warm feeling in her chest was gone and she felt alone again. She looked around and noticed that she was back in her room. Her comfy bed underneath her and the blankets pulled over her.
It must have just been a dream.
A really odd vivid dream.
Why would she dream about the male in the cage.
Gajeel.
The name ran through her mind and she couldn't help but smile. That was his name. It couldn't have been a dream. She knew his name.
Levy sat up and moved to get out of bed when Lucy scrambled in and hugged her.
"Levy your okay." She smiled looking at her.
She looked confused before remembering what she was talking about.
"I'm okay Lucy. Gajeel would never hurt me. I don't think he wants to hurt anyone."
Lucy tilted her head and looked at her. "What are you talking about Levy? You collapsed yesterday after hearing that you were gonna be married. Who's Gajeel." She asked in confusion.
"Gajeel. The male that the guards took to the dungeon yesterday."
Lucy looked at her blue haired friend in confusion.
"Levy. No one else came to the castle but Droy and Jet. There is no one else here."
Levy sat back. The look on her face was a mixture of fear and confusion. "But it all felt so real. He felt so real." She whispered softly.
The blonde haired girl looked down at her friend in fear. Was she going crazy?
"Levy. M...Maybe we should go outside? Get you some fresh air?"
Levy looked up at her friend and nodded slowly. "Yeah. But Lucy can I go alone. I think I need to think." She said softly looking back down at her hands as she stood.
It couldn't have been a dream. None of that was a dream. Gajeel was real. Someone was just hiding something from her.
Standing, Levy walked to her bookshelf and plucked a book off the shelf. This one would do. It would get her mind off of the "dream". Lucy scrambled to get the girls dress and tiara. No matter where they went the two had to wear their tiaras.
The girl looked in the mirror and saw the pink fluffy dress. No matter what she would never escape dresses. But she liked this one. It was one of her favorites. Along with that and her book she was excited. Maybe she could just sit in the fields. There she got to watch the town and pretend like she was apart of something else.

The guards walked the Levy as far as the top of the hills. After that, at Lucy's request, they let her walk on by herself.
The blue haired girl walked on in content. Never had she been free to walk through the beautiful fields full of tulips and lilies by herself before.
"It's simply too dangerous."
"A lady needs to be protected."
"You should get your head out of the clouds Levy. Princess's don't act that way."
All these things made Levy feel terrible. It was like she wasn't good enough for them. Sure she wasn't a real princess but it still hurt to hear them say such things.
Sometimes Levy felt that even Lucy looked down on her for the way she was but she couldn't help it. It wasn't the books.
It was her want.
No.
Need to see what the real world was like. Being a princess was great. And she was thankful for how everything was. But it still felt wrong for her not to see what the world was like. Maybe that's why she had a dream about a mysterious male who kissed her and made her feel so heavenly.
She wanted to live a fairy tail.

After a while of wandering, Levy sat down in the grass with her book in her lap. Her back was pressed against a tree so she could sit up straight, as her eyes looked out at the village below them.
It wasn't exactly the happiest village.
The king wasn't exactly known for his kindness. But it was better than being ruled by the Shadow Kingdom.
Rumor had it that even after the king, Metallicana went missing from the castle, it was still running just fine. Maybe even better than before.
It was said that his son ran the kingdom with an iron fist but no one really knew if the rumors were true. Anyone who went into the shadow kingdom didn't come back out alive.
They went missing.
A few mangled bodies appeared here and there but no one could tell if the marks were from a whip or an animal.
Levy shivered slightly at the thought. The only good thing about being a princess was that the guards kept her safe from that kind of thing. And so would Droy and Jet. The most reassuring thing out of it all was that Erza and Lucy would watch over her.
Erza was the captain of the Royal Guard. She took care of everything that had to do with criminals or other problems.
Everyone was afraid of Erza. She didn't play games and she hated people who weren't loyal. That's why there was no one who stole. Erza threatened to cut off hands if anyone did.

Levy sat in content reading her book before she felt a sharp pain in her neck.
"Ouch." She muttered swatting her hand at the spot where it hurt. As she did, a soft chuckle was heard.
Looking up she met the piercing red eyes that she had seen in her dream.
"G......" She started as her vision began to blur. Dam he must have drugged her.
She managed to stutter out as she collapsed forward on top of her book.
"Gajeel."
