(Back at home in Fairy Tail Kingdom)

Natsu paced back and forth. His fiery pink hair shifting as he paced back and forth in the kitchen. His father, Igneel was the castles captain of the guard but Natsu pretended to be a slave, per request of the King, in order to stay close to the princesses.

"Calm down flame brain." Grey, Natsu's equally annoyed yet strong partner muttered.

"Calm down. How can I calm down? Levy and Lucy have been taken." The male growled in response as he continued his pacing. "And I'm stuck pretending to be a servant." The male growled shoving a heavy pot off the kitchen table.

"Natsu." A loud yet calm voice called from the doorway. Immediately both the males froze knowing whom it was.

"Lord Igneel." Grey said, bowing slightly in respect. The older male gave him a slight nod before returning his eyes to his son.

"Father." The pink haired male muttered curtly.

"I realize you are angry of your mates captivity but that doesn't mean you destroy the kitchen over it." Igneel stated. To that a soft nod was given and Natsu collapsed back down by the fire. "Good." He said suddenly before gesturing over his shoulder. In stepped four of the males friends and royal guard members.

Erza, a tall redhead with a calm demeanor and top notch swordsmanship skills, stood beside three of her subordinates. Her right hand man, Laxus, was a tall broad shoulder male with a look of no emotion. On her left stood Mira, a normally calm and gentle woman until you put her on the battle field. And behind them standing taller than the rest was Elfman, Mira's younger brother with strong muscles and an attitude that could beat the best.

"Because a war between Phantom Kingdom and Fairy Tail Kingdom cannot be revealed to the people, I cannot take my troops on a war path." Igneel started. Natsu stood ready to retort but his father quickly raised a hand and silenced him. "I cannot take troops. But. If four of my soldiers were coerced into leaving with two males to try and save the princesses themselves, no one could say it was a war. Merely stupid children." The male grinned.

Natsu looked over his shoulder to Grey and then back to the four soldiers who stood behind his father. "What do ya say guys? Feel like going on a trip?"

Erza stepped forward, her hand on the hilt of her sword which was fastened to her waist. "Princess Levy was taken under my guard. I can assure you I will be the one to take her back." The rest of the group behind Erza nodded in agreement.

"Good." Igneel said, clapping a shoulder roughly on the twos shoulders. "You can leave at nightfall. Take no trace of Fairy Tail with you. And be prepared for a fight."

(Meanwhile back at Phantom Kingdom)

Levy laid Lucy on the couch. The short blue haired girl kneeling beside her. "Lu. Lu wake up." She whispered gently shaking her shoulder. Behind her, Gajeel stood, his arms crossed over his chest, watching the two women interact. "Gajeel get me some water." Levy demanded without looking up from her friend.

When the sound of moving feet didn't reach the woman ears she knew the male didn't move, Levy turned around, her eyes burning with anger and tears. "You get me a glass of water now dammit."

"Tsk. Alright." The male muttered turning on his heel. Despite how he hated being bossed around, Gajeel's dragon instincts burned at seeing his mate cry. All he wanted to do was rip the person apart who had done this. His father had done this. His father made his little shrimp cry.

"Here Lev." He mumbled as he held out the glass. Levy took it without even looking at him. Her eyes staying craned on her best friend. "Come on Shri......"

"Leave me alone." Levy cut him off.

Gajeel continued to stand still, his eyes widened slightly as he looked at her. "Wha....."

"I said leave me alone you monster." Levy cut him off again as she stood. Her small pale hands clenched into tight fists. "You're just like the monster she said you were. You're nothing else." Tears were beginning to run down her cheeks now.

The males jaw clenched into a hard line. That hurt. His mate calling him a monster. That hurt worse than a punch to the gut. "Fine." He snarled suddenly, revealing his sharp fangs. "I'll go prepare my wedding to your little friend then." He growled turning on his heel.

"Stupid mate." He muttered softly to himself as he ran a hand through his long black hair. In his mind Gajeel knew it was too late. He had marked her. Half of the process was over. Last night as she slept when he had whispered those draconic words instilled in his veins, he had fallen for her. His heart no longer needed anything but her. All that was left was for her to mark him back and for them to mate. She may not feel the tug of mating but he did. He had marked her and now felt her pain as well.

"Father." He called loudly as she stormed his way into the throne room. Much to the males pleasure it was empty except for his father and Gajeel's two friends, Lily and Juvia. Both were technically the males guards, but the trio had grown to become friends. "I have taken your advice. I will marry Heartfilia."

Metallicana's eyebrow quirked up in confusion. "I though that you and the little one we......."

"No. You are right. Heartfilia will be better for the kingdom." The prince muttered. Bitterness seeped into his voice but the king ignored it.

"Very good my son. Lily." He said turning to the tall black male. "Take the little one and dispose of her. If my son has no desire for her in sure someone will."

Gajeel looked down trying to hide the look of hurt on his face. He hated the idea of another male touching his mate but she didn't want him. That was clear. His eyes looked up to meet his fathers with a devious smirk. And if she wanted to see a monster. She found one.
