-LugiaplayZ09Somewhere within a small town, lived a college student with the name Azka, he was a Self providing, usual ol' generic college student. Hard at work, Has a crap ton of friends, and doing usual college student things. One day, he was hanging out with his friends when one of them told him that a new cafe opened two blocks from his college, little did he know, this Cafe would flip his life upside down, and thankfully in a good way.
On one generic day of college, Azka thought it would be nice to take a detour down to the cafe on the street that he heard about. Imagine the look on his face when he realized that one of the staff, was someone he recognized from back in highschool.
Azka opened the door to the cafe, the bell rang, Blonde hair, Brown eyes with a shade of pink and a Bright, Yellow scarf that he forever recognized. It was Alga, an old friend of his. He walked up to the counter with a sense of familiarity and nostalgia.
"Hang on a second, Alga?? is that you?"
"That voice? Hey, you don't happen to be"
"Azka?" "Alga?"
the both of them say eachothers names in unison, and they laugh together for a few seconds. The two friends were reunited after splitting paths for so long.
"Oh my, it IS you! Hey! It's been forever since I've seen you"
"Azka! you changed a lot since back in high school! How has my favourite junior student been?" Alga sets an arm on the counter.
"Oh come on, quit callin' names! heheh, but jokes aside I've been doing great!"
"Good to hear! Congrats on getting further education by the way! Here! grab a seat, I'll whip us up a drink and we can catch up after!"
"Sounds good!"
The both of them talk on the counter for a bit after Alga signifies her break time to the other staff to catch up with Azka. They start talking for quite sometime before soon enough it was 20:00 PM.
The two parted ways eager to see eachother again the very next day, this continued for a few weeks. It went for long enough that Alga was able to recognize her old friends usual order, a cup of tea with extra sugar. For Azka, college was his problem, and going to his favourite cafe everyday was a solution. Typical stressed out college students, am I right? But, that wasn't the only reason why he went to that cafe every single day, there was another reason. One that you can probably guess by now.
Azka stepped inside the cafe, looking around immediately once he was inside. It was still morning, and his classes hasn't started yet. So, he took the opportunity to go there and see his cru- Friend. Best friend.
"hmhmhm...🎵 Azka?" The familiar voice of her's immediately made him quiver with excitement and happiness. He went over to the cashier and smiled at her.
"What's good, gorgeous~" He said with a failed attempt at winking. Embarrassing.
"I didn't expect you to come.. THIS early, you know? I just opened, jeez." She sighed deeply before rolling her eyes at him.
"Oh, c'mon Alga. Anyway, I was just bored you know.." Azka leaned against the counter that was separating him and his old friend. He looked over at the kitchen, taking a sneak peek before Alga smacked him on the head.
"No peaking!" She laughed.
"I've only got the coffee machine running and the cakes and ingredients haven't arrived yet so..." She looked down at the floor, slight guilt visible in her face.
Azka grinned. "Hey, I came here so early not for the food or drinks. I came here just to see you!" He straightened his back as he spoke, not wanting her to feel guilty or anything. Azka didn't even need drinks or food this early in the morning since the man was known for only eating noodles.
"Really? That's... That's very nice of you." Alga's expression immediately brightened. She smiled at him warmly.
"Do you wanna try this new matcha latte I've been making recently? It's not really an official option on the menu yet but, just for you, you'll get it on pre-order. If you know what I mean~" She poked his nose before giggling to herself. She's definitely smooth with her jokes but, that's just what makes her a cutie in his eyes.
(Although she doesn't need to know yet, you disobedient readers)
"Matcha latte...? Hmm, not really my cup of tea but, sure!" Azka gave her a thumbs up as a way to show he agreed. He immediately grabbed a seat to seat himself in. Alga laughed before walking over to the back to get it all started. It was a great beginning for these two as they grew to meet eachother more often.
