It was yet another evening for Azka and Alga, the both were downing a cup of tea and a mug of coffee respectively. Azka was first to innitiate a conversation after his small order.
"So, uhh we're more than friends now?"
"Ya think? Of course we are!"
"Oh gee, I still don't know how to think of it, I mean its not that I'm not glad- It's just, it all happened so quickly."
Alga gave Azka a pat on the back, just to let him know that everything is gonna be fine.
"Heheh, relax luv! Take a breather. It's all gonna be fine."
"Fair point, maybe I'm just over thinking it."
Azka chuckles and sighs before continuing on some drawings in the back of his notebook. Alga took a view on what he was drawing. It was of two characters, sitting on a bench.
"Hey, is that-"
"The Original Characters that we used to draw all the time back in highschool? Yep, thats them alright."
"Oh gosh! it's been forever since I last saw them!"
"It has been huh? I just thought I'd be nice to draw them again."
"Well it certainly was."
Azka put away his book and pencil case back into his bag, before taking his leave.
"Welp, sorry to cut things short, but I really have to go. The final episode for King-Ohger is airing tonight and I REALLY don't wanna miss it. Not to mention, I've got a ton of assignments to do while I watch it"
"Then best you should get going, don't let me get in the way of what you need to do!"
"Got it, text you later tonight?"
"We'll see who stays awake the longest then." Alga says with a smug on her face
"I'll take that as a challenge, I'll see you later then! Have a great rest of your night Al!"
"Alright, G'night to you too Az!"
Azka walked out the door, the cafe was now fully empty. Alga flicked off the lights and locked doors for the night before going home.
Timeskip to tommorow, Azka comes to the cafe pretty early, as it was the weekend at the time after his and her small arguement. It was the 25th of November.
The door to the cafe rang, Alga was wiping the counter before starting the day.
"Mornin' Al!"
He waved, and smiled lightly.
"Good morning to you too Az! C'mere and grab a seat! I already have your usual order whipped up and ready to go!"
"Ah, gee thanks! Just what I needed after a cycle over here."
He took a sip out of it before sitting down at his usual spot.
"So, I've been thinking, would you, like to go out sometime?"
"Of course! I'd love to! It's nice to not serve customers every 30 seconds for a day, but uhh anyways, what do you have planned?"
"I have a trip to the mall with my friends next weekend, I was thinking maybe you'd like to come along and get to know them!"
"Sounds good! Who's coming along?"
"Oh you'll see" Azka laughs to add to his sentence.
"Fine fine. I'll look forward to it then!"
The two continued to have their usual trade of sentences. With a trip planned ahead of them, they look forward to see what'll be on their path in life soon.
