A conference in Beijing

Jimin had his life planned out to the finest detail. He'd study law, serve his articles, become a renowned lawyer in South Korea and then he'll find a girl to settle down with.

Whatever that last part had meant.

He didn't really care about getting married. It was something he thought of only as an image he'd have a clear vision of, somewhere in the long run.

It was something his parents would want him to have. Because, Jimin didn't believe in dating—or in having a partner. He didn't even believe in love.

At present, he was in Beijing, China for a law conference and didn't care about the fifty or so beautiful young women who eyed him hungrily from afar.

They can look, but they can't ever touch, he smirked.

They would never understand him.

Simply put, Jimin didn't care. He had his own life goals—and so far, he was doing great! He'd just become qualified as an advocate, which was a milestone for his age.

At 30, most lawyers are still struggling to get noticed.

This was yet another golden feather in his cap.

When I turns 40, I'll bow myself out of the courtroom one last time and set sail to Bali for my retirement.

Or maybe I'll go to South Africa. The climate is wonderful all year round. Their winters aren't harsh like ours back home, he mused.

For now, all I care about was making my money.

He tapped his pen irritably as the young women seated around the table in the room, all of various Asian origins, had watched his every move like vultures, hawks and other birds of prey.
