"Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!"

Everyone chanted, pumping their fists in the air as if this was some crazy festive rave party.

The room was decorated with faux holly and tinsel. Long garlands of green, red and gold were wrapped around beams, pillars and draped from the ceiling. Christmas trees dotted the corners of the restaurant, the blue and purple mood lights made them stand out.

But we couldn't join the team downstairs. Not yet.

First, I had to deal with the mob of semi-drunk people.

"No, I won't! Don't be ridiculous! She's my colleague!" I responded defiantly.

"Oh, come on Namjoon!" one of the guys in the back called out. "Just one kiss!"

"This could count as quid pro quo!" I narrowed my eyes at the people below, pushing my glasses up the bridge of my nose. "You guys are creepy! Sober up!"

I surveyed the blithering idiots for a moment. It was embarrassing to say that these were my colleagues. It's sad what a little alcohol can do to transform people.

My glasses were sliding down my nose again. The entryway was warmer than the rest of the room. Usually, this happens to me whenever a woman is involved.

But not just any woman. There is one woman in particular.

"Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!"

Their incessant chanting continued, mainly as background noise. I looked back at the beautiful woman who stood beside me, beneath the mistletoe that hung above the landing of the oakwood staircase that led into the restaurant that would be hosting our staff year end party.
