Chapter Fifteen

Jeremy's POV

I sit in the back booth of the Pizzeria, the one next to the storage area, with my head in my hands. After searching all of the places I could think to look, I called Vice and asked him to help me out. He hasn't called or texted me back and I'm starting to get worried about him too. What did I even do? I don't understand what's upset my little Maron so much. The door behind me creaks open and heavy footsteps make me jerk up.
"Wha-" was all I could get out before something heavy hits my head and the last thing I see is gold.

My head aches terribly and I can't see anything. The screech of metal against metal intensifies the pain and helps me shake off the last of my sleep.
I turn my head slowly and see a pair of worn golden animatronic feet.
"He wakes," comes a surprisingly deep voice for an animatronic. "Freddy likes meeting the puppet lover." As my eyes make their way up to his face I see a worn golden Freddy head. I've heard stories about him, how he was one of the two original animatronics from the diner days.
"Puppet lover is going to say his name," he says. I can hear his gears grinding as I try to find my words.
"J-Jeremy," I say, mentally cursing my damned stutter.
"He says Jeremy. Now Jeremy will join his puppet lover. Jeremy will stay with the family forever. Vincent programmed Freddy for this sole purpose. Freddy will make a good family for Vincent." His words make my insides turn. I think that for me to become a part of 'the family' I'll have to die and be stuffed. I just hope that Vice or someone would come and look for me. As Gold turns to the table beside him I can see the door. It looks like I'll have to make a run for it. As quickly as my cramped self can go, I make my way to the door. I was almost there when I see a large metallic endoskeleton arm snake around my waist. It hoists me back to Gold as I scream, hoping to attract someone's attention. Gold takes me into his arms and I can feel a rib snap as he holds me in a death grip.
"Jeremy is a very bad boy. He must be punished. Freddy will-" that's all he can say as the door slams open.

I'm so sorry that I didn't update for far too long. First I had finals, which really sucked, then I haven't had wi-fi until today! So I am planning on updating more regularly now that it's summer. I'm going to try and finish this story, at least mostly, by the end of June. Thank you for your patience.
