Hallelujah cover by Kate Voegele. Some lyrics were changed to fit the story.

Throughout the week, Levy decided that she would present her poem in the form of a song. A couple others in class were doing that as well, but she was the only one to do it as a single act. She worked day and sometimes long into the night on her piano and guitar (A/N yes she plays 'em because why not?) to make her masterpiece.

The last night, she preformed her song to Jellal and Erza both and got the Fernandez seal of approval, and her Aunt's famous home made sugar cookies.

That Friday morning, she dressed in a simple brown, white, and black dress with brown flats and headband. Erza made her wear it. Levy couldn't say no for two reasons, she didn't want to end up in the wall and the redhead threatened to cut off Levy's book spending fund. The blunette had no other choice.

Walking to school, she had her black guitar case in her other hand. It was a gift from her friends on her thirteenth birthday. She picked up playing quickly along with the piano which Jellal had taught her when she got there as a way to vent her emotions.

Her peaceful thoughts were broken at someone yelling her name behind her. "Hey Shrimp!"

A vein popped out on the tiny teen's forehead. She swiftly turned on her heel to face Gajeel Redfox who was smirking in all his teasing glory. Puffing out her cheeks, she snapped her head up at him, ready for the impending short joke of the day.

"Need a hand with the guitar case? It is bigger then you are! Gihi!" And there it was .

Already fed up with him after one horrible jest at her height, she continued forward to school.

"Oi! I was kidding! Levy!"

He then raced to reach her side.

The day flew past for Levy and finally her final class came up. She had already dropped her instrument with Mr. Loke. All she had to do now was wait.

So far, there were fourteen people who just stood and read. Six others did skits and talked all in poems. And the remaining ten in the class sang there poems in song form. There was a group of five and four then Levy.

After a skit group was done, Levy was the last to go. Leo Loke (A/N I suck at names) finished grading the last group then called out. "Levy. Thank you for waiting. Your up."

Levy went up in front of the class and took out her guitar, it's dark brown wood giving off a nice shine in the sun that streamed in.

Mr. Loke then gestured for me to do the first part of the project, which was the theme. I took a breath and began.

"My poem will be in the form of a song. This is about a story of love gone wrong through the eyes of a little girl. The title is Hallelujah."

Levy then placed her guitar in the position she wanted, poised to play. Closing her eyes, she breathed deep and began.

"Well I heard there was a secret cord,

That David played and it pleased the lord,

But you don't really care for music do you?"

Her class never heard her sing before and were taken aback by her light but strong voice.

"Well it goes like this,
