(Dahyun pov)

*gasp* where am I? It's pitch black here... I don't see anything at all. What's going on??

How did I end up here in the first place? One moment I was sitting and talking with the Elites then I'm here... what's going on??

"I bet you're wondering where you are and how you ended up here right?" A voice said from out the darkness which startled me 

"Oh uh yeah, who are you?" I asked

"Firstly, you are in my void, and I'm Yang, at your service" Yang replied

"Oh I see, why am I here then?" I asked

"I have to introduce myself after all this time don't I?" Yang said

"Ok, go on" 

"I am part of your mind in a sense, I've been in your mind since your were born, I've watched you live your life and suffer at the hands of those who deemed you useless and unworthy of life, in those times, I tried helping you the best I could but it wasn't my time to reveal myself yet so my power was very limited" Yang replied "I was created to help you find out who you truly are, think of me as not just a guide but a friend." I only nodded along to what Yang was saying

"You are so much more than you think, and you might be wondering if you have any abilities right?" Yang asked

"Yes of course"

"Yes you do, you have special powers as well, they are different from others' powers but you just have to awaken them." Yang said

"And how will I do that?" 

"The time will arrive  and it'll all come to you naturally" Yang said

"Oh, but why?"

"Why what?" 

"Why does it have to be me? What's my purpose?" I asked and the familiar feeling came back, lost.

"You have a very special reason to be here, believe that you are special. And you still have time before the time comes" Yang replied

"Before what comes?" I asked

"I can't tell you right now because it'll only stress you out, and you'll feel like you are going to run out of time" Yang replied softly 

"Wow, you weren't kidding when you said you've been with me since I was born, you really do know me well" I said genuinely surprised 

"Of course, I know everything about you, like your fears, traumas, triggers, talents, favorites etc." Yang said triumphally

"I can tell" I said and let out a chuckle "by the way, why can't I see you exactly?" 

"I don't have a form, unless you want me to. I'm basically just darkness" Yang answered sadly 

"Of course I want you to have a form! I wanna be able to see you" I said "although I wouldn't mind seeing you as pure darkness" 

And then I saw darkness flow around me, encircling me. I felt surprisingly comfortable, it was as if the darkness was enchanting something on me

"Hello" Yang said as the darkness stoped from around me and appeared in front me

"You weren't kidding" I said and the corners of my lips rose a bit, that's new. I guess I've just been alone for such a long time I forgot how it felt to be happy

"Oh also just to let you know, you have an other half" yang said

"What does that mean?"

"You're gonna meet  someone and that person will complete you"

"And who is this person?"

"I'm not quite sure—"

"I'm sorry Master, but there is an intruder, may I force them out from finding anything?" Yang said while darkness surrounded me once more

"You can call me Dahyun, and also yes, please force them out" I said while reaching my hand out to touch the darkness, it was surprisingly cold, but it slithered up my arm and around my body, I felt more relaxed as well

"I think you might have to go back to your friends now, they're getting worried" Yang said

"They aren't my friends, at least those Elites aren't" I said

"Ah yes, but try to make some new friends, I hate seeing you all alone all the time Dahyun" Yang said suggestingly

"I can try"

"Great! I'm looking forward to seeing  through your eyes after this Dahyun" Yang said teasingly And I just rolled my eyes, "see you soon Dahyun, I can speak into your mind by the way and no, the others won't hear" I nodded and when I opened my eyes, I was back to sitting with the Elites while everyone casted a worried look around me.

"Uh what's wrong guys?"
