3rd POV:
"What's all the commotion about! And what is Lavender doing here?!" Lavender looked over at where the familiar voice was coming from.
Macaque stood to the right of where the "Children" were with Kuaiji behind him holding a clipboard and pen.
"M-macaque!?" "Liu er!?" "Sis!?"
They all looked at each other back and forth between each person. "Alright! Twins and Kuaiji, you need to clean up the theater for the next play and close up! Lavender, we need to get you home! Got it?!" Macaque pointed at each person as he gave their instructions. Each one nodded or gave some form of acknowledgement.
Lavender was a bit confused but quickly adapted to helping out in closing up on time. Even though she was supposed to go back home, she was pretty convincing in trying to get Macaque into letting her help out. Saying that it would be faster and that they could get home faster too.
After around 20 minutes all was prepared and closed up for December 1st. During cleaning she got to learn more about the Twins, Kuaiji, and even Macaque. She observed how they acted based on who they were with.
When Macaque was with Kuaiji he was stern but still polite, when he was with the Twins he was always bossy and scary, then with Lavender he was polite and asked her if she needed help.
When Kuaiji was with Macaque she was kind of like a soldier in a way, always listening and having confidence, Lavender liked that about her. When she was with the Twins she was very physical and pushing them around. . . Literally. Then when she was with Lavender she was gentle but stern in orders.
Finally the Twins. . . They were all over the place. They weren't the best at listening but tried their best and ended up either in a fight or a new assignment. They always were listening and kinda scared of Macaque and Kuaiji but to Lavender they thought that since she was small they got to order her around. Which was wrong. They were pretty cautious of her but also would help her when she needed it.
Once they were finished they walked out of the theater doors and said their goodbyes. Then the three were off to wherever they lived. Lavender and Macaque stayed out a bit longer, just to talk.
"Sorry about that kiddo. Didn't really expect you to follow me here." He chuckled rubbing the back of his neck, "Guess that was kinda my fault then." To which she tilted her head.
Then something his her, she quickly shuffled into the hoodie pocket and pulled Smokey out. "I- believe this is yours. . ." She held it up shyly.
"Ah- t-thank you. . . I wonder how you got here?" He admitted out loud as he held Smokey close to his face.
He shrugged and poofed Smokey away into a purple mist-like magic. At first Lavender was shocked that he just vanished but she did pretty good at hiding it.
Lavender teleported them back to the Dojo and showed him her finished, remodeled, room. He was impressed she did it by herself and rewarded her with. . . Guess what. . . Head Pats!!!
_____
That was the day Lavender met Kuaiji, Yin, and Jin but the wouldn't be the last either.
At every show, sometimes even at rehearsal, over the course of December, Lavender would tag along with Macaque the help out backstage and learn more about the theater life. She got to get taught about accounting and the ticket booth by Kuaiji. Yin and Jin taught her about the backstage work, the lights, and props. Then Macaque taught her about theater, acting, and storytelling all in itself. She became quite accustomed to their lifestyle and found it a lot more lively. Her mother and father would never teach her this kind of thing, Nor would the maids or butlers.
