I woke up this morning and opened my phone. I got a text from Jacob.
Jacob: I just got suspended from school for a week.
Kayla:Same
Kayla:me and my friend got suspended
Jacob: Why did you get suspended
Kayla: Fighting with my friend
Jacob: Oh
Jacob: I shoved someone into a locker
Kayla: Why? That's just a waste of time
Kayla: It's not even funny at this point
Jacob: Trust me, she deserved it
Kayla: She? You have no respect for girls 🙄
Jacob: You're so cute Kayla
Kayla: And you're so annoying whatever your name is
Jacob: Jacob
Kayla: Why do you act like this
Jacob: Like what baby girl
Kayla: Don't call me that 🖕
Jacob: Aw baby, don't flip me off
Kayla: Unless you want to end up in the hospital I suggest you stfu
Jacob: Unless you don't want to end up a mess then let me call you baby girl
Kayla: No leave me alone
Jacob: I can't wait to see you again 😏
Then I just stopped texting him. I made me some cereal, and then I brushed my teeth.
Later, my mom bought me to Akielas house for our sleepover. Akeila saw me, and we said hi to each other.
"I can't wait to meet your family." Then she said you can talk to my auntie, but my brother snuck out the house. I'm supposed to be covering for him.
I went to meet her auntie. She was in the kitchen baking. Akeila told me she's always baking something.
"Hi."
"Hiiii!" I'm Ms. Patrica." She was so eager to meet me for some reason. "Oh my Gosh, you have to meet my nephew."
Then I said awkwardly, "No, I'm good." Akiela responded, "Right, right."
"Aww, you two are so cute. Well, I'm downstairs if you need me." She said eagerly. "Okay, thank you." I said
She took me upstairs and showed me everyone's room. Everyone's room seemed to kind of match the match everyone's personality.
Ms. Patricas room had lots of girly things like mirrors and makeup. It had a few paintings, but they weren't like something old. (Like Mona Lisa) They were all jazzed up.
When we went to her brothers room, she told me not to tell him, because he gets annoyed when she shows other people his room.
He had a picture of his mom and dad on his nightstand. We looked in his drawers and found lots of money.
Akiela was upset, "Where the hell did he get all of this from, and what about the nights I covered for him, and he couldn't pay me.
We found a picture in his drawer. It was of a girl in a cheerleader outfit. The picture was scribbled on, cut up, and burnt a little bit. It looked like he was really angry. Then she said, "Oh, that's his ex-girlfriend."
Then she told me," Okay, the is actually getting boring. Let's go in my room and play Truth or Dare.
"Um, sure."
