Sparked
curiosity,
is what started it
sparked like a broken outlet on the wall
wondering how far it could go
knowing it wasnt normal,
but it was just a thought
it wouldnt hurt
it couldnt kill
right?
wrong.
the fate was inevitable
you cant change destiny,
cursed by the cat
it was bound to happen

Burn
the once flickering flame became steady,
it always held the power to burn everything down,
it was only a matter of time before it got out of control
the only way to prevent it was for it to be
watched
cared for
no one was there to do that,
no one could bear the heat
no one was willing to share the pain,
so wild it became
tearing down anything in its path
no longer able to control itself
as the anger grew
so did the supply
the journey only growing easier
the damage only growing greater
until it reached the end
nothing else left to take
it died down and realized,
the only thing left was ashes
cold
grey
ashes
was it worth it?
too late for regrets now.
