When the stars do shine.
When the wind does sigh.
When the moon is high.
My mind, it wanders.
To and mostly fro.
My thoughts swimming freely
With no directed place to go.
My heart, it shatters slowly
A piece coming unglued.
My head becomes clouded
Once my emotions intrude.
How rude of you to barge in.
Uninvited as you were.
A shining light in my darkness
Causing me to stir.
For now I remain content,
My desires are free.
For I am not one to easily let
My emotions better me.
