Therefore I say:
For me you've been there.
You've angered me,
Saddened me,
Lifted me up form a deep depression,
And brought light to my eyes.
Together we'll build
A love greater than great.
A bond worthy of faith.
A friendship deeper in it's roots.
For you I'll be there.
Should you need someone.
A shoulder to cry on,
A friend to vent to,
A sidekick in humanity.
A new year is born,
As well as a new day.
Let us be ever hopeful
That this bond is here to stay.
