This one has two alternate endings which will both be in this update, read all the way to find out both
Kim's pov
"Duncan, duncan stop!" I backed into the wall as duncan continued to approach me. He mumbled some nonsense as he continued to stumble towards me with a knife in his hand. I held my rapier in my hand shakely, I didn't want to hurt him. He continued towards me and lunged at me suddenly. My eyes shut and I held my rapier with both hands out in front of me as a means of defense. I opened my eyes and saw blood all over me, my eyes went wide and my breath was caught in my throat.

Journal entry 42: Nanosounds
Today me and duncan found a strange new biome, he seems to think its really cool but I find it quite wierd and unsettling. He says he's going to spend more time there to research it while I stay here and run the lab.

Journal entry 46: Nanosounds
Duncan came back from, what we're now calling, the forest of mysteries and is acting a little strange. The rings around his eyes are darker but that might just be from loss of sleep, however he's begun mumbling and when I ask him about it he has no clue what I'm talking about. I might need to get him away from that forest.

Today when duncan said he was leaving for the forest I tried to stop him but he pushed me and I think I heard him hiss at me, time for a new plan.

Journal entry 49:Nanosounds
Duncans eyes have started to glow! So I put my plan into action sooner than planned, its not as strong as I had hoped to make but while duncan was sleeping I tied him up and boarded all the exits. I've begun doing experiments on him to find a cure but I'm no good at science so its been difficult. He's also been growing in agression, I hope my defenses are strong enough to contain him...

No time, duncans out and after me, I'm hiding now, but I'm running low on food and have no way out. He claws at the boards as if unable to get rid of them. His mumbling grows louder and he wanders around as if searching for me. I need to get out. Tonight.

Escape plan :51: nano
I'll distract him by throwing something loud at one end of the house and then making a run for the front, I should be able to break the boards with my axe then make a run for it, I guess we'll see.

Back to the present: ending 1
Blood dripped down onto me and I slowly lifted my head up. On the floor was Duncan's knife and his body lay limp on my sword.
"Oh god...D-Duncan!" I cried out his eyes slowly stopped glowing as the last breath escaped his lips.
"No! No!"
He fell off of the sword and onto the ground, his blood staining the wood. I threw the sword down and ran to his body. I sat next to him and put my blood covered hand to his face, tears rolled down my face.
"No...no..." I wispered as I lay my head ob his chest and curled up into a ball next to him.
"NO!" I screamed and began crying heavily.

Present : ending 2
I looked down to my body and saw his knife plunged deep into my stomach. I coughed and blood streamed through my mouth, leaving a trail of blood from the corner of my mouth down my chin. I couldn't speak all I could do was cry and look up into the eyes that I once trusted, the eyes that had betrayed me. In his eyes the evil blue glow faded until only his soft blue ones were left. They were concerned and confused, but I cared not, I only knew that gravity was increasing. Or rather that I no longer had the strength to hold myself up.I fell the the floor and as I did duncan grabbed my shoulders to cushion my fall then sat beside me.
"Kim, dear god, what happened?" I sae a tear leave his eyes, the same eyes I saw as they plunged a knife into me. I gave him no smile and my eyes held no love, only sadness and betrayal.
"Kim?" He said weakly, I still did not answer.
"I did this didn't I?" He asked looking at the knife and the blood on himself.I closed my eyes, preparing for my death.
"No kim, open your eyes, please! I'm so sorry, I should have listened to you about the forest! Its all my fault! I'm sorry, just don't die on me please!" He begged as I came closer and closer to death. Even if I were to survive, would I ever be able to look at him the same, would I ever trust him again, if not hate him for what he did. Its better this way, he continued his pleading but I could no longer hear him, i was too far gone.
