"So Vermouth didn't seem like a guy who has interest in women?" Damian asked him brother curiously.

"That's right. He wasn't someone who seemed overly interested in women, but I guess he changed with age." Eugene said with a shrug as he is shirtless.

It was quite known that the hero Vermouth had great many concubines alongside his own wife. Which is why Eugene was shocked to learn about it  and had told Damian. Since from his memories, Vermouth wasn't just abstinent, but was practically ascetic. He was baffled to learn that he would end up with 10 concubines and an entire host of descendants.

"Maybe it was the subjugation of the demons that kept his desires in check?" Damian wondered out loud.

"Don't know man. He was quite confusing. But I guess in the end he was still human after all, so it's not like I don't get his choice." Eugene said to his brother.

"I guess. But then again, only the descendants of his legal wife were seen as the direct lineage of Vermouth. The rest of us, even though we have the surname of Lionheart, are only seen as the branch families, the collateral." Damian said as he looked at his brother.

But even if he said that the twins can agree that despite being collateral families they haven't been left destitute. And while it might not be much compared to the main estate in the capital, their family mansion was lavish enough to seem showy in its rural surroundings in the countryside. So even though they were collateral descendants they were being treated according to their station.

Within this spacious mansion, the gigantic gymnasium especially showcased this majesty. Descendants who inherited the blood of the Great Vermouth - The Hero, the God of war, the Master-of-all - were not allowed to neglect their training. It was something that was hammered into the twins from a young age.

"By the way, take it easy on the training dummy. There's only so much it can take." Damian said to him as he looked at the broken dummy lying beside Eugene.

"Not again. You broke another one." Gerhard Lionheart, the father of the twins said as he looked at Eugene with tired eyes.

"Father." Eugene said as he turned to look at him.

Gerhard couldn't help but look at his son's body which was brimming with strength that should not be in the body of a 10 year old. While the man himself has trained diligently since he was a child, he knew that his son Eugene has put all of his past efforts to shame. Even though he was a Lionheart and descendant of the great Vermouth, Gerhard actually had no talent for the marital arts.

He then looked at his other son, the twin of Eugene, Damian Lionheart. And like his brother Damian is also shirtless as he is reading a book. There are weights on his chest, legs and forearms as he is reading a book. But the most absurd thing was that he was reading that while sitting... on the air, without any kind of support.
